10.30: Visiting Mua Cave, where you can get the impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh city when you reach the top point of Ngoa Long mountain.
12.00: Enjoy lunch with plenty of traditional foods such as: spring rolls, goat meat…etc.
13.00: Discovering Tam Coc on the sampan (bamboo boat). With nearly 2 hours, tourists will have a chance to mix with the local life, river, limestone mountains, fields… Passing through 3 caves: Hang Ca- first cave, Hang Hai- second cave, Hang Ba- the third cave by boat will bring to you excited feeling

This is a typical tour that you can find on other travel websites, but our guide Leo was really knowledgeable and informative, so I learned a lot about Vietnamese history and language. The lunch was a typical buffet at a rest stop restaurant so don’t have your expectation high.

One of the best tour experience. Considering it is one day, I am amazed how beautiful and unique of countryside as well as local people. Make sure you have plenty of energy for the trip.

It was a good experience, our tour guide Tranh was very pleasant and despite the size of the group, she acquitted herself well. However, I had a hard time communicating via email with the host. Also, we were scheduled to be on the 7:30 AM bus but ended up with the 8:20 AM bus, despite being the first to show up at the pick up point.

I signed up for this experience because it seemed to be by far the best one and was really looking forward to exploring Ninh Binh and the area. I consciously choose experiences on Airbnb over other platforms, because of the group size but also they’re much better quality. Upon booking this tour, I was informed that the luxury bus was already full (even though on Airbnb it showed it still had availability). I was asked if shuttle bus was also ok, and since I only had that day I could do this trip I said ok. No further explanation was given to me. What happened though is that they passed me on to a different tour group, huge bus, 30+ people on it. No mention of any of this prior and I only realised this in the morning when I was picked up. They further didn’t even offer a refund on the price difference, and only finally paid the price difference back (over USD20!) after I had to discuss with them all day via the Airbnb App. No idea if the original tour is great etc, but this is pretty unacceptable.

Die Tour ist insgesamt positiv. Die Natur ist sehr schön, aber für eine "private" Tour habe ich doch nicht Orte mit sovielen Touristen erwartet. Die Aussicht vom Berg und die Bootsfahrt sind wunderbar, den Rest hätte es für mich nicht gebraucht.
