What you'll do

Our French Quarter food walking tour showcases distinctive Creole and Cajun cuisines that bring food lovers back to the bayou year after year. We guide you to the best spots for tried-and-true Big Easy classics as well as innovative riffs on NOLA’s traditional dishes.

We stop at five classic New Orleans-style food places that really showcase New Orleans culinary history. Between the food stops, your guide narrates the quintessential history, culture, and food scene of the gorgeous Vieux Carre (“Old Square”) neighborhood.

On your tour of the French Quarter, you'll stop at 5 delicious & unique food tastings with an alcohol component add-on, hear storytelling through food – an unforgettable historic & cultural experience, learn from the food vendors themselves as they share their story, try New Orleans' most unique, tasty, and trendy food, and leave with a full belly & mind as you eat your way through a flavorful neighborhood from a local’s perspective.

Behind every great food establishment in this city, there is an equally great story of tradition and innovation. On this food tour, you can discover these amazing histories while tasting what has made these eateries so beloved by locals.

While I was on a six-hour historical tour my stomach began to grumble as the guide pointed out some delicious food spots. It was then that I had an “aha moment.” I decided to include my favorite food places on a history and culture walking tour, so folks wouldn’t be hungry while discovering the city!

I want my tours to tell the story of the neighborhood through its food and the people who prepare it. The rest, as they say, is history. I've been giving tours for over 7 years in multiple cities. So when you join one of my tours, you can rest assured you'll be in expert hands as you taste your way around the city!

Went to NOLA in June and this tour was a great way to try native foods without having to plan myself. Grace was accomodating with my dietary needs and was a great guide.

We had a great time with our tour guide, Lisa. She was very knowledgeable about the food we had and New Orleans, in general. She was also very helpful with giving us recommendations for the rest of our trip. We really appreciated that!
