What you'll do

After a short intro i’ll help you with adjusting the PULLKA-equipment; poles, a harness, some ropes and above all a sled! The core of PULLKA? Drag this sled filled with (natural) ballast through beautiful nature. Train with this primal way of movement all your muscle groups, enhance your condition and burn tons of calories. It’s you who decides the intensity of the workout. With PULLKA you’re offline and undistracted by modern life! After a 15 minutes warming-up (getting used to the gear + preparing your body and mind for a outdoor workout) we do a strength and agility session of about 20 minutes. This part has connations with the bootcamp you already know. Challenging exercises boosting specific muscle groups, core stability and agility skills. For this part we primarily use the PULLKA-equipment, the sand of the beach and your own body. Then the expedition part starts; a beautiful and - if you choose to do so - high demanding walk (with PULLKA-sled!) through off road nature. It’s like the fartlek training method in athletics; we use points/zones in nature as the trigger phases for interval, climbs, recovery and endurance. This part is about 45 minutes. Total PULLKA outdoor workout: about 90 minutes. We schedule this training based on your and my agenda. Meaning it's a personal session with the two of us (or with your group/family/friends).

Where you'll be

The PULLKA workshop will take place in in the Westduinpark and Zuiderstrand: the largest green area in The Hague. This nature reserve between Scheveningen and Kijkduin is a PULLKA paradise, with 245 hectares of beach and dunes. In this area I know all (hidden) tracks and i’ll share my insiders info on the reserve. The exact starting point of a workshop may vary based on time and weather

I'm quite flexible and eager to share this unique PULLKA experience with you. Please let me know your time possibilities and we will work something out. You don't need to be very strong and in good shape. You don't have to run. Even better; the chances on injuries are minimal compared to running
