About Invisible Cities

Invisible (Manchester) is part of Invisible Cities, a social enterprise that trains people who have experienced homelessness to become walking tour guides of their own city. 100% of our profit is used to develop our guides further or to organise wider events for the homeless community.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Invisible Cities. .

What we’ll do

This unique walking tour was designed by Laura. The tour will take you on a rollercoaster of the Northern City’s streets, with unexpected twists and turns. You will be introduced to to Manchester through its history of powerful women, astonishing architecture and vibrant food scene. Where you'll be

The one and a half mile walk will take you to places like St Peter’s Square, where the Central Library, The Midland Hotel and Emmeline Pankhurst statue are located. Laura will also take you to China Town, where photo opportunities arise. In Piccadilly Gardens she shares her personal story with you under the watchful eye of the Queen Victoria statue The experience ends in the Northern Quarter at an optional cafe stop.
