What you'll do

We meet at the waterside promendade of the Main river in Frankfurt, East (street: Mainwasenweg, in front of the restaurant 'Paulanergarten'). On request I can also pick you up at your hotel. After having assembled the waterbike togehter (10-12 min) we will start our City-tour through Frankfurt. I will explain the sights we pass by - after appr. 2 hours we are back at the location where we started our tour.

I am an enthusiastic water sportsman since many years. Water touring (with different watercrafts), rowing, paddling, waterski - this are all wonderful ways of enjoying beautiful sceneries from another perspective and to do some sports at the same time. Travelling with a waterbike is a very particularly experience. You do not need any previous experience, it is suitable for all ages and a very unique way to get to know the City. To experience the Skyline of Frankfurt on a Waterbike is an unforgettable experience!

During a daily tour you will get to know the waterside of the river Main, we pass a sluice (lock) and take a rest in a beautiful garden at the river Main.

It was an amazing experience, unique and special. Burkhard was super nice, was easy to talk to and a very pleasant host. He answered all our questions. None of us had any problems after he explained how to do it. My daughter is 12 and she managed easily. And we are not water sports people. It was very quiet in the water during on a weekday. On the way we passed a couple of kayaks and three-four boats. They created small waves which made it even more fun. It was wonderful to bike along the ducks, the swans and the geese, some people were waving at us too. We biked under a few bridges and had a fantastic view towards the city , approaching it slowly and taking some memorable photos. All in all it was a very memorable and unique experience. I highly recommend it. Thank you Burkhard for the super time!!

ein außerordentliches Erlebnis für alle die Radfahren mögen und es auf eine andere Art erleben möchten. Ein wenig sollte man trainiert sein, 2 Stunden können lang werden. bei Sonnenschein auf dem Main, einfach super !!!!!!

Had a wonderful time biking on the Main with Burkhard, enjoying Frankfurt from the water. It's so easy, and so unique, you won't see these waterbikes in many places. I highly recommend it, no hesitation !

We attended this for our one year wedding anniversary and it was such an amazing experience! Übers Wasser gehen - äh, fahren... Ein gutes Gleichgewichtsgefühl sollte man schon haben und ein bisschen "Sitzfleisch"... Ansonsten macht es bestimmt jedem Spaß, den Main mal aus einer ganz neuen Perspektive zu erleben. Sportlich aber nicht zu anstrengend. Es kann bei Wind oder Schiffsverkehr schon mal ein bisschen Seegang geben, die Schwimmräder liegen aber erstaunlich gut im Wasser und lenken sich auch besser als wir es gedacht hätten. Man kann problemlos nahe beieinander strampeln und sich dabei unterhalten. Ein wirklich seltsames, wackliges Gefühl war es, nach der 2-stündigen Tour wieder auf das eigene "Landfahrrad" zu steigen :)

Such a beautiful perspective to take photos from, and such a funny thing for everyone along the water to take pictures of as well haha! Don’t worry about falling into the water, it’s nearly impossible, my daughter did it and she’s terribly afraid of the water. Well worth it.
