Our trip in the Wolfie Jeep was absolutely incredible. Every last detail had been thought about and far exceeded any trip we could have done ourselves. I love to shop and eat local at home. So a highlight of me occurred on the fourth day. We went down to the harbour in the morning to meet a local lobster fisherman, and bought some lobsters directly from him. Then later that day Garry cooked them for us over a fire on the beach as the sun was setting on the horizon. A memory that I am sure will last a lifetime - among many others! The Isle of Harris is a really special place, very remote and isolated with very welcoming and friendly local people. I definitely want to go back with the whole family!

Our trip with Garry was truly one of the best and most unexpected experiences I have ever had. With restrictions on international travel, my mum and I wanted to find a unique staycation that felt a million miles away from home, and that’s exactly what we got. Our trip was last minute and Garry couldn’t have been more accommodating and efficient in making it happen. He was an incredible host with such deep knowledge of Scotland. We felt like we were on a personal VIP tour with Garry preparing us the most incredible food in truly magical settings. I honestly can’t put into words how brilliant it all was. The added experiences along the way were such a unique touch, we hiked quiet trails, explored white sand beaches (who knew we had those in the UK?!), learnt how gin is made in Harris, it was just magical. Garry’s knowledge of the area meant we got a real insider experience that I’m sure we would have missed if we’d gone along. I cannot recommend enough. We’ll be back for round two.
