Fajã Grande is the westernmost parish in Europe. In front of the parish, the sea and there we have the opportunity to see the extreme west of Europe which is the Ilhéu do Monchique. Looking in the opposite direction, towards the rock that surrounds this fajã, you can see several waterfalls that make this place one of the most beautiful parishes of Ilha das Flores. One of these waterfalls falls into a well-known well, which is the Poço do Bacalhau. Currently, Fajã Grande is a bathing area much sought after by vacationers.
