Holiday rentals in Faughts Lane

Loved loved loved this little gem! Peaceful and bucolic, but with all the modern amenities you need to be comfortable. Anthony was a wonderful host. He was proactive and responsive, when we had a minor issue it was dealt with immediately, even though it was a Sunday night. Thank you Anthony! The location is amazing, easy access to the rest of Mayo. And of course, close to Leonards the gorgeous local pub where we were made to feel right at home.

Our stay in the Lakeland Lodge was just perfect. The history of the lodge was fascinating and it really didn’t disappoint. The lodge itself was well furnished with great attention to detail and was extremely comfortable. The surroundings were just a visual delight. The views from the hot tub were beautiful and we were very lucky that the sun came out for us in January which made us feel we were transported elsewhere. There are lots of little areas around the lodge with seating to capture different moods and sunlight and even a chill out area inside. As a host Lorcan was easily contactable, friendly and provided all the information we needed and more and couldn’t ask for better. We would definitely love to book to come back here and hope to revisit in the near future.

This wee cabin is like something out of the movies . Beautiful surroundings and gorgeous cabin . We had planned to go out and about when we got there but we just wanted to make the most and didn’t want to leave! Pictures really don’t do it justice. Amy was helpful and responsive. Wished we had booked two nights . There’s plenty to do in the surrounding areas We took Amy’s recommendation and did the cave tour after we checked out . Perfect finish to a night away !

Lovely spot on the coast, quiet with excellent views

Great big house in central location in Killybegs. 15 minute walk to shorefront and pubs/shop etc. Mary was very responsive and extremely helpful both prior to and after our stay. My mum forgot her sunglasses and Mary offered to post them to us - brilliant! There were 5 adults and 4 kids staying and the house was a perfect size. Bedrooms were clean and welcoming. The living room was spacious and warm with the option of an open fire. The kitchen was also very spacious and had everything you would need. We did the short drive to Slieve League and would highly recommend this. All in all, a super stay in a lovely house in beautiful Killybegs. Mary was a brilliant host. Would definitely go back with the family.

We really enjoyed our home away from home. House was super clean and cosy. The fresh clean smell of towels and bedding felt like home. A lovely touch of a welcome basket, milk etc was so handy. Will definitely be back.

Our second visit to the cottage, and much like our first visit, we were not disappointed! Liam was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He had left fresh bread, milk and homemade cake for our arrival which was lovely. The cottage was cosy as the range had been lit, and there was fuel available to keep it going. The secluded location and cosy bed/ fresh linen meant we slept brilliantly, and the enclosed outside space was perfect for our dog. Our second visit, but definitely not our last; we would highly recommend!

Perfect communication with Sheena, the house has everything you need in it, very confortable with an amazing view. Mullaghmore was closing for the winter (no more leasure center or tourist activities from 31 october), but the walks are amazing and people friendly. it was a good holiday, thank you!
