The Old Log Cabin in Harmony HollowThis cabin originally was built in Virginia in the 1940s, with mostly American Chestnut. It was moved to our property about 6 years ago and rebuilt by my husband Jim. This little cabin sits at the entrance to our property on a private lane overlooking a beautiful pasture in the front and a creek in the back. Beautiful sunsets can be seen as you look for deer and turkey crossing the road. If you are looking for peace and quiet, we think you will love it here!
Nature Lovers ParadisePoplar Cove Retreat is a nature lovers paradise. Whether your interest is flowers, trees, birds, or rocks, you'll find it all in abundance. My house is located on our 65 acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys and other wildlife. I keep numerous bird feeders filled so you can enjoy watching the birds from several outdoor seating areas. I have left my field guides and binoculars for guests who might enjoy identifying birds and numerous topics.
