The house at Dueglock

Charming farmhouse from 1867 Sit in the living room and watch the sun set into the ocean, or the autumn storm build waves as big as houses. The path to Karmøy's natural phenomenon Dueglock goes via the property. Eager birdwatchers waltz hit all year year all year year. Jump with Viking vents from King Ferking, Ferkingstad fishing port, Fishermen's Memorial and Stavasanden are a short trip away. The coastal path from Ferkingstad to Åkrehamn with some of Norway's finest sandy beaches is recommended. Feel free to try your fishing luck from land when the weather permits.

Hagland Havhytter consists of 2 cabins and is located north of the town of Haugesund (15 minutes drive) on the west coast of Norway. The cabins are located about 100 apart. Haugesund is located between Stavanger in the south (2 hours drive) and Bergen in the north (3 hours drive). From the cottage you have stunning views over rough, untouched nature with heather heaths, swab mountains and open sea. We have Standup paddleboards (SUP) that can be borrowed free of charge. Private outdoor area with dining area, barbecue, hammock and wood-fired fire pan. The cabin has an outdoor shower, kitchen, toilet and double bed. It is close to public transport and shops

Newly renovated farmhouse in peaceful surroundings.

The house is a farmhouse from 1907, it was completely renovated in 2019. The house is situated in an open landscape surrounded by farms that do sheep, cows and horses. These surroundings create lovely views from all rooms. On our farm we do the cultivation of fruits and berries, and produce apple juice and aronia juice for sale. In addition we have a small home bakery where we bake potato cookies. The house is remotely located in relation to both neighbors and the host family's residence.

The micro cabin was finished in August 2023. It's 17.6 square. In the living room there is 5 seats and a chest table with storage. The couch can be turned out to a double bed. The accommodation is in the loft. There you are under a skylight and can admire the starry sky and the sea view if the weather plays. Kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, hot plates, microwave and necessary kitchen equipment. The bathroom has a water toilet, a sink w/mirror cabinet and shower.

Naustet is brand new and part of the sea house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunity. Building and furniture created by renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the dock. Naustet is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the garden has a 5 km hiking trail.
