Country cottage in the northwest of S.Miguel, with views to the ocean, the mountains and the fields. An option for those who want to explore the main attractions of the western part of the island, but wish to stay off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE THERE`S A CAT living in the cottage (she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT) and it might not be suitable for those who are allergic or don't like cats. The cottage is relatively secluded in a rural environment with farms, animals and all that comes with it.

Chestnut tree

Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people.

Waterfall Life: Secluded Nature-Immersion

"Immersion into nature" at its most literal definition. You'll have your private paradise in nature. Surrounded by waterfalls (2), wild plants, flowers, rocks, birds and even some fish. A soundtrack—the water streaming down from two sides of the property—will follow you into your sleep. Everything is aimed at minimizing distraction from the intrinsic beauty of nature, you'll be in your own bubble, yet a small village market and a bar are conveniently located less than 100mt. (300ft) away.

New, charming and comfortable 'Cottage' (with 2 en-suite bedrooms) right on the shores of Lagoa das Sete Cidades. The Japanese Cedar Villa, measuring almost 70m2, has a bedroom, a living room with a dining area, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and a balcony. The bedroom can have a king size bed or 2 single beds, just let us know what you prefer. It is equipped with air conditioning/heating, Wi-Fi and a television. It is ideal for 2 people but can accommodate a 3rd or 4th person (children or baby) using an extra bed in the living room (without blackout).

Ideal for relaxing vacations in contact with nature, both in summer and winter. It has air-conditioning and two fireplaces, which give the house a lot of comfort in the winter.
