The house is nice and quiet and has a full kitchen so we had great meals. Also a big yard which we had spent one day just relaxing. The hosts are amazing and they had a lot of tips for the island as well as necessary information about supermarket and so. Don't hesitate book this place.”

What guests are saying:“Apart of the streets (but only ten minutes drive from Ponta Delgado) Asnate and Tiago built this extraordinary place. Sleeping in a simple wooden hut beneath an impressive rock massif we enjoyed the sounds of nature and the one of a kind sight on the Atlantic ocean. The only fellow inhabitants are their lovely dogs JJ & Nietzsche, some chickens and a shy goat. No better start into the day than be woken up by the chief cock and then served with sandwiches made of fresh ingredients directly taken from the owners' garden. We really enjoyed Asnate's and Miguel's warm and courteous personalities and are grateful for their tips for our stay on Sao Miguel. If the weather had been on our side they moreover would have taken us with them on a climbing trip - maybe and hopefully next time. To people who are fine 'being one with nature': We can highly recommend to stay there. It was a real pleasure.”

They are fantastic hosts, always answering questions quickly, providing everything we could need, so friendly and helpful. Georg met us in the village to guide us up the mountain to the cottage - a narrow dirt road but our little rental car had no problem. The double bed has a comfortable foam topper, the kitchen was well equipped, laundry was easy to use and overall such an awesome place to stay!!!”
