Beautiful limestone house on southern Gotland

Fride is a typical Gotland farm from the 18th century. The house is carefully renovated with many charming details such as tiled stove or fireplace in all rooms, two lovely bathrooms with bath and shower. In the kitchen there is a dining area. On the lower floor, there is a dining room and a games room. The garden is large, with mature trees, a spacious terrace with a dining table and barbecue, a pizza oven, a playhouse, swings and a trampoline. The garden consists of several "rooms", breakfast, evening drink and sunbathing area can be in different locations. A stone wall surrounds the yard.

Pastoral Places

Wing on a farm with lambs and meat animals (cows with calves). The farm is located near the coast, in the middle of lush meadows and pastures with about 1.5 - 2 km walking distance to the sea. The accommodation is perfect for families with children and also great for birdwatchers as the farm is close to some of Gotland's best birding spots. Guests are responsible for bed linens and towels. The guest cleans and leaves the place in the same condition as it was in when they arrived. Bicycles are available in the yard to borrow. Kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated in 2022.

Fiskarstuga on Sudret

This is the place for you if you are looking for a small accommodation for you and your partner or friend. We recommend a maximum of 2 guests. Fiskarstugan in Fide is an excellent accommodation for those who want to explore Sudret's beautiful views. A short walk from the cottage village, you will find Fide Adventure Village, which is appreciated by both adults and children. There is a playground, waffles and coffee. Don't miss their pizza! If you continue past the Adventure Village, you will come to the sea pool, a project to oxygenate the bay. A dip for the brave!

Cabin on southern Gotland

A modern cabin with 6 beds in a beautiful cultural landscape surrounded by meadows and oak forests. The house has many balconies, so just choose the one that suits you. The evening sun is wonderful! The house has all the amenities you will need such as a dishwasher and washing machine, barbecue grill and stable Wi-Fi. You clean up after yourself after your stay and you have to bring your own bed linens and towels. Duvets and pillows are available. Southern Gotland offers magical environments with sandy beaches, limestone stacks and a rich cultural life.

Our unique home is located in southern Gotland – a modern interpretation of the Gotland barn in burnt spruce and untreated concrete, with large glass sections that blur the boundary between inside and outside. Here, calmness is immediately present. You can swim in the 32-degree pool, cook with local ingredients and enjoy long evenings. The house is completely self-sufficient in electricity via solar cells and batteries. We are happy to share the place that for us means calm, presence and enjoyment of life – and hope that you will feel the same.

Forest walks around the corner, 5 km to the swimming lake and 7 km to Ljugarn's long beaches, shops and restaurants. Modern, fully-equipped kitchen. Shower with underfloor heating, hot water for 2 people (normal use). Double bed 180 cm + 70 cm wide extra bed. Final cleaning is included. Sheets & towels are not included, can be rented. Rebuilt and newly renovated forge in limestone located on the small parish road in Grötlingbo, next to the medieval Kattlunds Museum Farm. The house is part of our farm building where you have two separate patios. The lower floor has a living room with limestone floors with underfloor heating and a large fireplace. A smaller kitchen area that is fully equipped and a bedroom with two beds in a bunk bed. The upper floor has a double bed with the possibility of an extra bed. Newly-built bathroom in extension with separate entrance.

Granne med ett naturreservat med många olika fåglar, fantastiskt för fågelskådning! Havet ligger bara några steg bort, vandra genom ängarna med vilda blommor, den långa stranden med orörd mjuk sand, sträcker sig en km. Omgivningarna, ljuset, himlen – speciellt stjärnorna på natten- ”Vintergatan”.

Our farmhouse is carefully refurbished to retain its rustic charm while offering modern amenities for full relaxation. The front lush garden you share with us as a host family. At the back of the farmhouse instead, there is a completely private terrace for both sun and shade.

Old Gotlandic farmhouse in southern Gotland dating back to the 13th century. Three of the farm buildings have been restored for accommodation and "Grishuset", the old pig-house, is one of them. The environment is family friendly and is in close proximity with the sea and nature. NOTE. Bedsheets, bedlinen and towels are not included so bring your own if possible. You as a guest clean after yourself and leave the house in the same condition it was in when you arrived.
