Amenities like supermarkets, banks, cafes and restaurants are all within a short walk. The cottage is 15 minutes drive from Inverness airport and provides a great base to explore the Highlands.

A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Findhorn offers a variety of activities such as sailing, golfing, fishing and also art/craft classes at the Findhorn Foundation. Well behaved pets allowed by prior arrangement. Sorry no smoking. Staves Cottage - A newly renovated bespoke space for guests to enjoy all that Moray and the highlands have to offer. Set just minutes away from the beach you can enjoy peaceful walks or venture further afield to explore various attractions. Activities such as Distillery tours, fishing or clay pigeon shooting can be arranged (at additional costs). Self check in is available but hosts are on hand should you require assistance. The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed nestles under a large ancient Monterey Pine at the bottom of our garden in the beautiful village of Findhorn. Less than two minutes from Findhorn Bay and a ten minute walk to the beach on the Moray Firth. Guests have their own access and sole use of the Boat Shed. Just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and Marina. Perfect for a short break or holiday. It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.

The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome.
