Holiday rentals with lake access in Fitjar Municipality

We had a lovely time staying at the property. It had everything we needed. The place is quietly located and nicely furnished. In the village there is a supermarket with bakery, a gas station and other shops.

I'd love to come back here.

There were two of us for about 1 week in the lovingly renovated Skolehus of Mette and Jan. Like the other vacationers, we find the location directly on the Sund with the fascinating view unique! Special thanks also to Mette for the tips to explore the area and the kindness. The house is extremely clean and really nicely decorated. The outdoor facilities (2 wooden terraces: one directly by the house and also one downstairs directly by the water) are very nice. We will keep the Skolehus in our hearts!

A hidden gem, the kind of place you don’t want to write a review about, to make jt. carefully kept secret. Hosts were nice; very kind and relaxed. Breakfast was awesome.

We had a fantastic long weekend at Torbjørn's house. We were an extended family with grandparents, children, in-laws and grandchildren, a total of 8 adults and 2 small ones. Very tastefully decorated house with good bolting space. There were several toilets/bathrooms, which was great when we were so many. The outdoor area was superb, undisturbed and peaceful with great views. There was a heated pool where small and big enjoyed themselves, very clean and well cared for. A cozy outdoor living room for the evenings was too, but we were lucky enough with the weather that there was no need for it. Heiane, with all the shops, was just a few minutes away. We will be happy to come again another time and can highly recommend the house. Thank you for us :)

We were 2 couples with two children and an aunt & uncle. The place was perfect for us. When the weather was nice, we could barbecue outside, make campfires and eat self-caught fish. The rented boat sleeps 4 people and was excellent for fishing and excursions. We took public transport to Bergen twice. Here, too, the connection was absolutely sufficient, provided you timed the ferry rides. Overall, we had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. The house is very lovingly decorated and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of space. Also a big thank you to Arne for the great support even before arrival and the detailed introduction to the house. We were very pleased to be able to enjoy your apartment for our family vacation. Until next time!

Ingers and Knuts place was just wonderful, the fjord in front of us, kajaks to be rent for free, swimming directly from the house, incredible views, a very kind and hospitable host, a easy accessible sauna, fishing ropes, bicycles, just everything what we needed. Knut welcomed us, showed us around and he and his wife were just always available when we needed something. And the wooden house with its details was just wonderful to live in for a week. We would love to come back!! Thank you so much.

Our stay was amazing thanks a lot !! The place is incredible, super cosy with great landscapes and the owners are really welcoming ! They were really flexible with the check in check out, we had the opportunity to meet their animals, have fresh eggs and bread and they even drove us to the ferry terminal !! It was literally our best Airbnb ever thanks to Geir and his family.

Very central and nice place, and at the same time peaceful. The host was accommodating and prompt when I requested a few things. There were a few small things that were not great, but all in all value for money and can be recommended. The room I got has a sofa bed and not a bed.

Everything was perfect and I loved the information map which included a self-drawn map of nearby places to visit in the nature! Many thanks!

I am very happy with my stay here. It was very well arranged and it was easy to figure out the practicalities. The hosts had clear information digitally and inside the apartment, and I had a pleasant stay. Recommended!

We booked the apartment for a total of three nights at the end. The apartment has a large main room with kitchen, large bathroom and one bedroom. The terrace is not quite ready yet, but you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the water and the surroundings. Welcome wine and water were also there. There are washing machine, dishwasher and dryer. Although the host family lives in the same house above, there is hardly anything to be heard due to the staggered location of the rooms. The surrounding area is a quiet 30's cul-de-sac zone. TV only Smart with AppleTV. Underfloor heating in all rooms, still a little clammy. Successful apartment!

We've had a wonderful stay. The place was peaceful and private. Osvald was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. It's a cosy place. Recommended! :)

Our stay at Ingebjorg and Johannes was great. The house was absolutely clean and quiet. Ingebjorg and her sons were always helpful. The accommodation is really recommended.

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

Cosy cottage and beautiful surroundings. If you look for peace and quiet, Helge’s house is the place to be. We spent 10 great days in Fitjar.

Great place for the whole family to get out of the everyday struggle. Recommend!
