The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

Our property is centrally located to explore the natural wonders of the south. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from ring road no 1 by road 208. Most nature attractions in central south Iceland are within 95 minute's drive from us. Please note; that due to a problem with our address in the Airbnb system, the location of our cabin G-24 is not correct on the Airbnb map. Our place is accessible by any car in normal summer conditions. Free car charging.

The Hill House is a great location for visiting South Iceland. From the house, there is a beautiful view, and the house is big and spacious. It has five good bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living room to get together or relax after a day out. The surroundings are peaceful, and there are many options for short hiking from the house. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
