The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rorbua. Leknes town, airport and hurtigruten ferry a short distance from the cabin. If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

Modern cabin in central Lofoten

New and well-equipped cabin with beautiful sea and mountain views! The cabin is located close to the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature. It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Good opportunities for hiking in the mountains nearby, or try your luck at fishing. Close to the beautiful Ramberg beach in Lofoten, you can treat yourselves nicely at Elvis Presley's road We have a big sauna with a smaller relax room where you can watch the spectacular view, midnight sun and the northern light. And a big fireplace. 3 bedrooms + 5 sleeping places on floor/beds on the attic (most suitable for kids due to limited head space) There is 2 bathrooms. One of them is connected to the master bedroom. Comfortable beds only, no bunk beds or mattresses on floors. Two complete bathrooms. 300 liters hot water tank gives everyone a chance of a shower. Washer and dryer. EV charger. The Domes are placed above a garden where raspberries are grown. The Domes are in nature with a fantastic view of the mountains and the fjord. You can see the sky from your bed. During the winter you might even see stars, the moon – or the northern lights? Homemade breakfast with fresh bread and local products is served in a refurbished barn. The Domes are without electricity, but wood for heating is provided. WC, shower, electricity and WiFi are provided in the barn - 100 m walk.

Single room with own entrance

We live on the countryside. Its 6 km to supermarket, bistro, train and bus. Its 45 min by car to Bodø city, and almost 20 min to Fauske city. If you like nature, we have a nice view, and a lot of places to enjoy! In the summer vi have daylight 24/7. In winter its darker, and if the weather is good, we have northern light. For almost 3 months we dont have sun. But we have snow - for playing and skiing. If you need guide in the mountains, contact Bodø Fjellføring!
