Holiday rentals with beach access in Flacq District

Shameem place was great, the location was perfect a short walk to the beach. The view is great, the unit was spacious. The beach outside the unit was awesome, the reef is amazing for snorkelling. Neha the the helper was amazing, she also will cook you a meal for a nominal fee, you have to provide all the ingredients. Kathy the manager does respond. The unit itself is well equipped, rooms have aircons, however the aircon in the main living room doesn’t work, which makes it hot but there is a fan which helps. Something to note, the unit is located away from the restaurants and shops so you need a car, however Shameem did help, Kamlesh was great for car hire. We enjoyed the stay and would be back.

A lovely apartment just off the beach in very quiet and private surroundings. 13 nights and rarely saw anyone else. Very close to the beach and with a communal pool which we almost always had to ourselves we couldn’t ask for better. The apartment has just about everything we needed. A car is needed to make the most of the location and having a reserved parking space is useful. Ashvin provides security and is a great help. He provided some super suggestions for local restaurants and was always friendly and amenable. We’re already thinking that this is where we’d like to stay when we plan to holiday in Mauritius in 2026.

The house is very nice, just like the pictures. Everything is great. The beach is beautiful with fine white sand and turquoise water and practically private. There's a paddle boat and a net to play volleyball. Communication with the owner is very good.

Luxorious apartment with nice view to the sea. Apartment is in excellent condition with very nice, modern furnitures. Many resorts close by with variety of high level restaurants just within a few minutes walk. Belle Mare beach is a very long sandy beach, where you can do many different water sports. It is also nice to walk/jog along the sea shore.

Unforgettable stay in a magical place!!! The house is perfect, the place is idyllic with the sublime beach... and especially Yolanda who is a beautiful person, incredibly kind. She organizes everything, feel free to ask her to book the boat trip for the 5 islands... great day with an adorable skipper and what about preparing meals... we did not regret choosing the Airbnb option rather than these impersonal hotels... thank you to Julien for his responsiveness and availability. Don't hesitate, this place is magical and borrowed from tranquility like this island and the Mauritians!

The villa is a slice of heaven and our only regret is that we didn't stay there longer. The place is exactly like in the pictures in a beautiful location that isn't touristy but located close to many hotels if you want to eat out, and also a walk away from the village. We will never forget the changing colours and moods of the sea we experienced from the deck. What made it even more special was the warmth and responsiveness of Vincent, who was very friendly and full of suggestions and ideas of things to do, places to eat and explore and Asha, the caretaker and her lovely family! They made us feel at home from the get go and Nisha, Asha's daughter has her own taxi and is a perfect person to plan your trips with across the island if you do not have your own car. We highly recommend her services and suggest you discuss tour options with her. Overall, we have already made such great memories from our time here and highly recommend Vincent's place to anyone reading this! We will be back!

I really enjoyed the stay as the place had everything needed for comfort. Everything is there! The host is very responsive and friendly. The beach is just a minute's walk and beautiful. My husband enjoyed his fishing and had a great catch. My parents enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. You just have to watch out for the occasional falling coconuts...

A beautiful place to discover the east coast of Mauritius. The house is welcoming and in close proximity to a pretty intimate beach. All the amenities nearby and a very nice hand from Jacqueline for cleaning. To book without hesitation

We stayed at Natasha's place in March-April 2025. The host was very friendly, the house was very convenient, cozy and beautiful. The house was very close to the ocean. It's a nice choice for large families like ours. We were so glad to stay there. Wonderful place, amazing host! We were delighted! Everything works just fine in the house, house is very functional. Maids came to clean the house almost every day and they also cooked super delicious breakfasts for us. Natasha is so kind and supportive! We fell in love with her. Natasha, if you are reading this- we will definitely come next year for 2 months:) Best place we stayed ever.

Brand new apartment in a semi-private street, at the end of a very narrow secondary road and where cars struggle to pass. Very close to the embarkation of boat trips for the aux cerfs and the islands of the southeast. Beautiful and new decor, very large spaces, especially super bathroom. Quite stocked kitchen, nice terrace where you can stay on the coolest nights. The only real flaw is the absence of air conditioning in the living room/kitchen, which is hot at exaggerated levels. There is a fan that helps but does not replace the air conditioning: either you stay cool in the room or on the terrace, but it's the only real defect in the house. Overall highly recommended especially for a group of 4 people. David, the host, very helpful, responsive, friendly and we really appreciated that he helped us find a solution at the last second for the boat trip. Highly recommended

We had a great stay at Nicolas's house where there is an authentic atmosphere with a set of wooden furniture. Our arrival being a Sunday, he organized a meal for us as well as some staples for our first night. He welcomed us warmly and introduced us to all the services of the house. This one is a short walk from a beautiful sandy beach. The pool with buoy was much appreciated until late at night . Another service offered, Jacqueline's local meals, we highly recommend it. They are very good. The kitchen equipment is also very complete for cooking No inconvenience identified, everything was perfect for us(family with children)

A great house, with 3 large bedrooms , a pool and all that a few meters from the beach. It is not the most beautiful beach in Mauritius but you can still observe pretty fish about a hundred meters in front (you even have feet 100 m away) Caroline is very friendly and offers you the best welcome. I recommend the excellent restaurant "la maison d 'été" only a 3-minute drive away (superb view of the lagoon) Great value for this home, I recommend it!

From the moment we booked to arriving, Ambroise and his gf Andre where the perfect hosts and so welcoming. The apartment is exactly as the photos if not better and we were so pleased to spend 3 weeks there. We felt at home and very safe esp with the guard dogs around at night which were so obedient but liked a fuss and play too when allowed. They did not enter our private area. The kitchen, bathroom separate toilet where all like new and very clean. Denis our recommendation for taxi driver collected us at the airport as arranged with Ambroise and also several trips around the island to visit various spots. However it was Ganesh that made our holiday so special with his daily friendly visits to clean and sometimes chat if time. He also offered to pick up food items and made us several Mauritius meals for a small charge. We thoroughly enjoyed using the kayaks as well as snorkeling a few paces from the apartment in the lagoon. Swimming was possible in the lagoon with watershoes. 5*

We had a lovely stay at Guy’s place, beautiful position looking out over the sea and just a few minutes walk to a couple of restaurants. We enjoyed the pool after we had been out sightseeing in the car.Trou Aux Biches about 15 minutes walk but we drove and parked near the supermarket, a lovely beach and plenty of fish to sea when snorkelling. The only negatives …The beds were a bit firm for our liking and we couldn’t see any sunsets due to the apartment facing north west, other than that a very enjoyable week

Stayed at Geoffray's apartment for a full month It was an amazing stay we felt very much at home as soon as we arrived It's just a 5 minute stroll to a lovely beach and easy access to local buses . there's a local min market just up the road or a short bus ride to a very large supermarket for a bigger shop should you need it Geoffray's Mum & Dad were so lovely very helpful and on hand should you need anything We would highly recommend a stay here it really was the best Thanks again for an amazing stay Pete & Greg

We stayed 3 weeks at Devi's apartment and everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. The apartment is modern, bright, functional, secure and super clean. Devi is a wonderful person, welcoming, considerate, generous who cares about the well-being of their guests as well as being super responsive if there's an issue. We can only highly recommend Devi's apartment. We'll be happy to go back. We recommend renting a car to explore the island. Thanks again Devi for your hospitality!

The apartment was dreamy. Better than the pictures. As in the Paradise. The hosts are very helpful. Supermarkets and restaurants are accessible by car. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can also cook wonderfully yourself. Special plus: 3 times a week is cleaned. Luxury! We were very pleased.

We spent about ten days at Béatrice's place. This place is very nice with all the essentials to have a good holiday. The nice little extras: the bedding, the swimming pool, the nearby beach, peaceful residence,... I warmly recommend this place, we had a great holiday.

We had a great time. The accommodation is perfect, ideally located, there is no downside. Sabrina is extremely friendly and the interaction with her was very pleasant. I would recommend it in a second, we hope to come back. 🤞🏼
