Peterborough Motel Apartment

VanessaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Super comfy stay with Chris. The photos don't really show this place well - but it is HUGE! A massive kitchen as well as 2 separate bedrooms with another 2 beds in the lounge. it was old, but super clean and comfy - with great heating and cooling from reverse cycle aircons. The bed was warm and soft, the hot water hot and plentiful, and the recliners in the lounge were perfect for a nap! The courtyard was sweet, but not super private and is not secure for dogs - not an issue for us, but may be for others. All in all it was a wonderful stay, not fancy but super comfy, clean and quiet - it was perfect after a long drive. Will be staying again next time we roll through town. (Oh and PS - the pub on the corner, like 50m walk does an amazing counter meal too!!)

Spear Creek Beach House

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great beach property, very quiet, great views from most windows, cracker views when on upper deck (upstairs), lovely verandahs on both west and east sides - needed in that part of the world. Note that one of the bedrooms with queen bed is only accessible via stairs from outside, the other two are in the main house part. It's an older place that has been renovated; great kitchen (reno), lots of utensils, pots etc, cracker fridge, big TVs everywhere.

Beautiful historic cottage with modern touches located within the grounds of the stunning Jacka Brothers Brewery. Lovely view of Mount Remarkable from the kitchen. Very friendly hosts, with great local recommendations. Easy check-in and 30seconds from the biking trails. Can’t wait to return.

Acacia Cottage - Bendleby Ranges

Bendlby Ranges is a must visit station stay if you are wanting to visit the Flinders Ranges. The tracks are both easy and challenging depending on the route you take. The scenery is unparallelled.

Point Lowly Cottages - #1 Lowly

AmyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Lovely historical lighthouse cottage that has been newly renovated with updated bathrooms/kitchen/living. We, and our young child and dog loved our stay. Point lowly is isolated but note there are quite a few visitors during the day for fishing and sightseeing. This is also one of two cottages side by side. The house was impeccably clean with a well equipped kitchen. Parents of young choldre note there is no bath (two showers) and I imagine it could be quite chilly in the bedrooms in winter. There is one oil column heater. and well stocked with quilts and blankets (byo linen though). The close by beaches are mostly rocky. Dog owners note that the outdoor area is not entirely fenced.

Upalinna Shearers Quarters Central Flinders Ranges

KaraRating, 5 stars36 months ago
There shearers quarters are a perfect location to base yourself to explore what the Flinders ranges has to offer. The quarters are tucked away in a secluded country pocket away from any tourist hustle and bustle, but only a 10 minute drive to the conviences and walking trails of Wilpena pound. The host has maintained the old country charm of yester-year while providing today's modern comforts. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook up an amazing feast! While there is no TV, there is ample board games to connect with your fellow travellers and enjoy your technology detox. This place would be an amazing spot to stay at with a large group of friends or family. We loved the campfire for roasting marshmallows and star gazing. We would absolutely love to stay here again if in the area again! Thank you Mija!!!
