“This little cottage is a gem. Wake up to the sound of birds; get lulled to sleep by the coquis. There is a nice little kitchen with all the dishes, pots, pans and household items you will need, a small sitting area, two nicely ventilated bedrooms with comfy beds/pillows, and an adequate bath with shower. Outside there is a beautiful covered patio with fireplace/grill and hammock, a very large open patio, a plunge pool (it looks like a hot tub, but wasn't hot), and a large side yard. There are candles and tiki torches to create a nice atmosphere. It is off the beaten path but not too far from San Juan, and you'll truly feel away from it all. It is not luxury , but it is stylishly decorated, well stocked, clean, comfortable, safe, and about as tranquil as one can get. We'll return in a heartbeat.”

“Eileen's home in the mountains is amazingly beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. The home itself is stunning, with multi-level decks, a pool, and view of the sunset over the jungle, which is alive with sounds of birds and insects at night. Truly spectacular and peaceful. Jayuya and the other little towns in the area are small and fun, and there are coffee plantations and roasters hidden around as well! We had a paper map of Puerto Rico, as well as a map of Jayuya - both were very helpful in navigating, as we often lost cell and internet on the rural roads. The location is amazing though, and the roads driving in and out of Jayuya are beautiful!”

“We had a wonderful stay here in Ciales with great hosts who provided excellent suggestions for the local area as well as thoughtful supplies during a power outage. The guesthouse was clean, well stocked, and ventilated with fresh air. We enjoyed the outdoor shower, the back patio, and hammock! Joanne and Eli made our stay memorable in so many ways. We highly recommend staying here and we would definitely choose to return here again. We had a wonderful stay in Ciales with super good guests who gave us excellent suggestions of the area and attentively provided us with details during the time that there was no electricity to make our stay more comfortable.
