29 Sandend Cottage

The family owned cottage has been fully refurbished in 2020. The kitchen with all major appliances / lounge / dining area is integrated and open plan. The shower room with u/f heating is on the ground floor. Two bedrooms rest on the first floor and are accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a small sea view window in the second bedroom with a comfortable chair for reading and looking out to sea. There is no TV. High speed WiFi Internet access available. Please note that no pets are allowed.

Renovated fishing cottage close to the beach

Our holiday home is a home from home! Our boys have grown up here so we hopefully have everything a family needs. It is within walking distance to the beach, harbour, cafes and restaurants. A short drive away you will find distilleries, golf courses and the beautiful Moray coast. We spent 6 years renovating our beautiful fisherman's cottage and we regularly spend time here with our boys. We would like to reassure guests that we follow all industry guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.

The Old Merchant House, Portsoy Harbour

“The Old Merchant House” is a stunning, iconic, grade A listed property sitting immediately on the harbour front in Portsoy and is located on the Moray Firth coastal footpath and National Cycle Route 1. The property has a date stone of 1726 and was originally the home of Alexander (Laird) Brebner, a famous merchant and renowned smuggler. The Old Church of Ord was built in 1834 and has recently been upgraded into a four bed roomed , four bathroom , dog friendly property set in six acres. The main hall has a wood burning stove in the seating area and a further lounge upstairs with views overlooking the garden .Outside there is a fenced garden with a barbecue , patio and wood burning hot tub for 8 with views of the surrounding countryside and Moray Firth. Off road parking in the gated area in front of the house.

Harbour View Cottage is situated in the traditional fishing village of Sandend, nestled between the town of Portsoy and Cullen village. Sandend has one of the best surfing blue flag beaches in Scotland. The harbour offers fishing and "harbour jumping" as well as crabbing. Our cottage is one of the most spacious within the conservation village, with off street car parking available. We will do our utmost to ensure the best stay possible in our bright and comfortable cottage.
