Converted Granary in Rural Somerset Nr Bath, Bristol, Wells

Set in peaceful, rural countryside yet within easy reach of Bath, Bristol and Wells, The Granary at Manor Farm is a beautiful old stone barn that has been converted to provide all the comforts you need for the perfect break. Bright and spacious with high ceilings, exposed beams, splashes of colour, contemporary furniture and access to an indoor pool and extensive gardens. The Granary at Manor Farm is on the upper half of a traditional Somerset stone barn. The accommodation comprises a bright, spacious open plan living and kitchen area plus a bedroom and bathroom. All rooms enjoy high ceilings, original oak beams and lots of light from the south facing windows. We have designed it to be private, peaceful and to take full advantage of the views across the garden and lovely Somerset countryside beyond. The Granary benefits from underfloor heating throughout and a Morso wood burning stove, so plenty of comfort for those who enjoy a quiet night in. Where possible we have retained or recycled features from the Granary’s previous incarnations to achieve an appealing blend of the old and rustic with the new and comfortable. The furniture and fabrics are all new. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher and large Liebherr fridge freezer. In the living area there's a TV, Freesat and blu-ray player. The bedroom is simply furnished with a kingsize divan bed and high quality 400tc cotton bedlinen. The bathroom has a free-standing bath with a separate, spacious dual-head rain shower and a double basin. Outside, we hope you will enjoy the extensive garden which we open one day each summer for the National Garden Scheme. There are lovely areas to sit and we can lend you a barbecue if you would like to enjoy some al fresco dining. Beyond the garden we have a couple of paddocks which are (usually) occupied by sheep, and the garden is surrounded by fields, so it is not over-looked. You will also have access to our indoor heated swimming pool and conservatory area in the lower half of the Granary building. Please let us know in advance when you would like to use the pool and we can make sure that you have exclusive access at the arranged time. We provide towels and bedlinen, soap and kitchen essentials. Our welcome basket includes milk, bread, tea, coffee and home made preserves. If the dates you are looking for aren't available don't forget we also have Manor Farm B&B listed on Airbnb. A huge, luxurious en-suite bedroom, delicious breakfast and the use of the swimming pool! The Granary is a self-contained holiday apartment. You will need a car (or bikes) to take full advantage of the local area and there is a large car parking space adjacent to the accommodation. We can provide secure storage for bikes. Guests with limited mobility need to note that it is a first floor apartment, accessed via external stone steps. The apartment itself is all on one level. Guests are welcome to use the large main garden and, by prior arrangement, the indoor swimming pool. We will do our best to ensure that the pool is available to use during your stay but occasionally there may be circumstances which will mean that we have to close it. We live in the original farmhouse with our two small boys. The Granary windows face away from the farmhouse, so you may hardly see us! However, we will usually be on hand to welcome you and help with any queries you might have. We will be happy to recommend places to go and things to see in the local area. Otherwise, we will leave you in peace to enjoy the space for yourselves. Stowey is in the heart of the Chew Valley on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Chew Valley Lake offers first class opportunities for fishing, sailing and birdwatching. Rural walks and bike rides can be accessed from the door and we are right on the edge of the Mendips with further opportunities to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside. There are many great pubs & restaurants close by including the Michelin starred Pony & Trap. Bristol, Bath and Wells are all easily reached. We are in great cycling and walking countryside but you will need a car to take full advantage of the area. We can provide taxi numbers, but please note that as we are in a rural area, taxis are best booked in advance. Babes in arms are welcome (and we can lend a travel cot with prior notice) but the apartment isn’t suitable for toddlers due to the external stone steps and ponds in the garden. BnB in Barn with 2 ensuite Bedrooms

The Barn has a "retro/rustic/bunk house character" with exposed beams some dating from the Napoleonic Wars. It has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other has two single beds of which one is on long legs!), both have en-suite wet rooms and lead off the large living/play area. Sheets and towels are included. The kitchen area in the main room comprises an electric cooker, butler's sink, microwave, refrigerator with small freezer section, kettle and toaster, utensils and crockery. Complimentary beverages, breakfast cereals, eggs mostly from our own hens, homemade bread, jam and cake, milk and bacon are provided to kick start your stay. There is a full size table tennis table and bar football for the young at heart! The sitting area is around a cast iron wood burning stove has a digital TV with SKY and an Ikea sofa which makes up into a full size single bed. Background heating is provided by a state of the art computer controlled electric panel system and there are panels in each bedroom. Off street parking is on the shared pebbled yard next to the Barn. The Barn is accessed via a shared drive with the main house in which the hosts live. The drive has large metal gates separating it from the public park (Redland Green) over which there is a tarmacked access road leading from Redland Green Road. There is a children's play area near the house. Redland Green Farm is in a sylvan setting but is only one mile from the city centre and has good bus and train links with the main line stations. There are numerous eating and drinking establishments, shops and amenities within walking distance either on the Gloucester Road, Whiteladies Road, Cabot Circus, Broadmead, and Clifton.

A self contained first floor studio apartment with private entrance, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom located in the beautiful Painswick Valley. The studio is a attached to a large house and guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens and swimming pool when not in use by our family. It sleeps 4 (1 double and 1 sofa bed in the same room). Self catered- but can stock fridge in advance on request. Easy access to Stroud, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tetbury, Cirencester. Beautiful local walks and pubs.

Imposing Georgian house within the grounds of our 24 acre livery yard. Surrounded by horses, orchards & blackcurrant fields with footpaths for miles (2 dogs welcome). So much to do with a lake, picnic area, fire pit, large heated summer pool and grass tennis (both May- end Sept only), all year hot tub (extra charge), croquet lawn, Boule court & games room with cinema & table tennis! Heron's Nest has been lovingly designed, to created a cozy 'home from home feeling'. The cottage has its own private, south facing garden which enjoys a peaceful location with stunning views. The woodlands and fields hold an abundance of wildlife and birdlife all of which can be viewed from the property - plenty of deer too!! Change over days are Mondays and Fridays. Enabling a 3 night weekend break, or a 4 night week break or a week at a time - Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday.

The Hideaway is nestled in the Wiltshire countryside on a four acre smallholding near to the foothills of Roundway Down. It is a self-contained 1st floor studio, adjacent to the hosts property, surrounded by sheep, donkeys, dogs, chickens, a pony and large African tortoise. The opportunity to feed the lambs during springtime can be arranged. Guests are welcome to use the family pool during the summer months (June-September) and the gym. Deluxe Coach House at Bretforton Manor with pool

The Coach House makes up part of Bretforton Manor, a Grade II-listed Jacobean estate that’s a 10-minute drive from Chipping Campden in the picturesque north Cotswolds. We only have the one property which is luxurious and very spacious for two people. Guests have access to our incredible facilities (5 acres of grounds with an indoor swimming pool, which is open April to Sept and a tennis court). Bretforton is a brilliant base to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford.

Luxury Cosy Cottage

Luxury newly renovated 2 bedroom coach house set in the grounds of a Georgian Manor House with its own private gardens and duck pond over looking the National Trust Tithe Barn. The Coach House is within walking distance of the quaint village of Bredon which boasts 2 pubs, a village shop and playground. Bredon is ideally located for Malvern, Cheltenham and the Racecourse, Worcester and the rest of the Cotswolds. The Owners live in the Manor House so are at hand for any questions.
