Chalet holiday rentals in Franklin County

The chalet exceeded our expectations with ease of access to Sunday River and local restaurants. The view was amazing!

We had a great experience at Shelley’s place in Coplin Plantation. The house was spotless on arrival, with plenty of towels/linens for all the guests. Shelley was thoughtful enough to leave us hot chocolate, coffee, and a few essential groceries in the fridge in case of a late arrival. The house was everything and more than we expected and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Sugarloaf/Flagstaff Lake area.

Polly’s chalet was amazing for a birthday weekend away! The house is perfect distance from the mountain and all the delicious restaurants. Polly was a great host and we couldn’t have asked for anything more! The hot tub after a cold day was cherry on top, will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Kings Retreat this past weekend! Plenty of space for our group friend trip. Lovely surroundings, beautiful views, and a well stocked kitchen. Beds were comfy and fire places were cozy. We even used the grill and fire table on the deck for happy hour after a day of skiing. Would recommend Julia’s property for anyone looking to be close to Sunday River with a large group! Will be back again :)

We had a terrific stay! Lisa and Jon's place is beautiful, with scenic views of the lake and surrounding Rangeley. The place was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great time skiing at Saddleback mountain. Loved interacting with Lisa and Jon, who made the stay pleasant and memorable

Loafer’s Lodge is peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and offers something for everyone! Close to Sugarloaf and the Outdoor Center, Loafer’s Lodge was centrally located to all that we wanted to do. Returning back to the house to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain, the cozy living room beside the fire, and the soothing hot tub was beyond any expectations that we had. Looking forward to returning!

Highly recommend! Everything was extremely clean upon our arrival and the house was super spacious. Beautiful view of the mountain from inside the living room! The location is perfect for skiing Sunday River as well.

This place was excellent for our large group. The house was comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. The main floor was set up perfectly with a large landing area next to the door to store everybody’s ski gear that was out of the way of the rest of the space. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook meals for everyone. There were plenty of towels and linens and the bedrooms were all comfortable too. Plus, the views were beautiful. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a place in the Sunday River area that accommodates a larger group and would certainly stay here again if we ever come back!!

We were in town for a charity benefit concert on the mountain. As two non-skiers, the location was great because we were away from the traffic but could easily get to the mountain and its amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at Alaina's house. Amazing view of Sugarloaf Mountain. The house was well stocked, super clean, and very comfortable for the 10 of us. The welcome card and basket of treats were a great surprise. Definitely recommend Alaina's house for an enjoyable trip to The Loaf!

The house is exactly what you see in the pictures. It’s a very private space in the woods, so if you are looking for a peaceful time away from the city, this is a perfect place. There are enough amenities in the house that makes your stay comfortable and easy. The hot tub and fire pit make the outside even more enjoyable. Julia is a great host, very responsive and helpful!

Caroline really came through for our party when we needed her most! She was responsive, friendly, and accommodating and helped create a seamless experience for us. We would definitely rent from Caroline again.
