Foley's Cottage - Restored 18th century Farmhouse.

Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. In addition, the cottage has all modern conveniences.

Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. Jimmy’s is 1 entire farmhouse built in 1864 and renovated in 2021. The house has the usual modern conveniences, as well as lots of character. It is in a rural setting , surrounded by farmland and old agricultural buildings . It is just a 5 mins. walk to Campile village , 10 mins. drive to some of our local beaches . Waterford city is a 30 mins drive as is The Hook Lighthouse . JFK Arboretum and Dunbrody Abbey are of walking distance . We are spoilt with many beautiful restaurants &pubs locally.

You can experience our fresh milk from the farm, fresh spring water and home baking. The Tranquil setting also has scenic walking trails.
