Very nice place to stay in a great camp. The hosts are super friendly and the food is also cheap and very tasty. Perfect for anyone who needs some peace of Arugam. The waves on site are something for advanced people and boards can be borrowed there. Overall, we had a really great stay.

We slept in one of the containers for four nights. The grounds of the accommodation are very nice and cosy and we received a warm welcome. As it was low season, breakfast was not offered, but that was ok for us as a few shops in the neighbourhood were already open and there is also a shared kitchen. We booked a safari and a cooking class through the accommodation and everything went smoothly. The staff was also really lovely and supportive. As the accommodation is right on the road, it's not super quiet, but there is little traffic towards the evening. We felt comfortable, but next time we would rather come at the beginning of the high season, as the place is otherwise quite deserted.

Super Nice Staff! Rasa, the manager is super nice and helpful. Even told us where to find the wild elephants and came with us to see them. His food was very nice as well! We were there in off-season so only 2/3 cabanas were occupied. But even in high season there is only a maximum of 30~ people there he told us. Located directly at the beach we could see the sunrise from our bed in the open cabana. Would definitely recommend!

The best accommodation we stayed in Sri Lanka and honestly one of the very best I have stayed in the world! From the moment you arrive you’re aware you’re in for something special. There are countless reasons why this place is amazing. However, first and foremost is the staff. They are incredible. Whether it was remembering custom breakfast orders, the way we took our coffees or always having cold water available; the lengths they take to make you feel welcome is astonishing. They just know ways to make you smile. The unforgettable bonfire on the beach was a true highlight. The food and drinks were exceptional. The pizzas incredible, the breakfasts fresh and delicious and the cocktails refreshing. Nicola was fantastic and provided us with information about the area, surfing seasons and places to spot wild elephants. He also provided me with some secret Italian tips for cooking perfect focaccias. We leave with nothing but wonderful memories and we thank you, Whisky Point Resort😊

Such a happy place! 🥰 Been there during off season (Nov - Apr) and loooved it. We had a private Cabana (Buffalo Rock) and I was reading my book on the outside bed watching the beautiful sea all day long. If you are searching for a perfect place to escape everything and have a private beach whilst off season - here it is. Also, the food at The Lighthouse Beach Hut Hostel was great, they easily organized everything for us and gave us a ride.

We had an amazing stay at this Arugam Bay Airbnb! The space was incredibly spacious, with balconies galore, offering stunning views. The interior design was both beautiful and functional, making our stay truly comfortable. The kitchen was a lifesaver for our midnight cravings, and the pedestal fans were a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. But what really made our stay special was Adam's exceptional hospitality. He ensured our comfort, from taking care of the house to kindly accompanying me to Eid prayers and even lending me his serong. Adam's thoughtfulness and helpfulness made our stay truly unforgettable.
