Large family cabin with many possibilities summer and winter 100 meters from the cabin begins the approx. 630 km of well-prepared cross-country ski trails. You can put on your skis right at the cabin door, whether it is alpine or cross-country. Bicycle Eldorado with over 200 km of marked trails, roller ski facilities, horse riding, canoeing, frisbee golf, kayaking and hiking in all variants. Rondane, Jotunheimen, Sjoa, Gudbrandsdalen, Heidal and more offer many opportunities for longer day trips If you want to see Peer Gynt, it is a short walk away.

Kårstua at Viken Fjellgård, right by the fishing lake

Viken Fjellgård is located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, an hour's drive from Lillehammer. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, something hot to drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a snowshoe hike, ice fishing, burn a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, then this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes. The trails start right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the trip on the high mountain.

It is located by the road, well shielded with stunning views of Gålåvatnet and Jotunheimen. The cabin is centrally located for both summer and winter activities. Gålå is a great family destination with lots of activities for the whole family. The place is especially known for a long ski season with good ski slopes, the Peer-gynt game, and many opportunities for biking in the summer.

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Large main area with well-equipped kitchen, dining and seating area + TV corner. High ceilings and great views from the living room. 7 beds in 3 bedrooms. A bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine.

Willkommen in Snowcake Cottage, unsere luxuriöse Holzhütte mit einer tollen Ausstattung und einer einzigartigen Aussicht auf den Gålå-See sowie das Jotunheimen Gebirge. Bei uns findest du neben Sauna, Hot tub und freistehender Badewanne alles, was dein Herz begehrt! Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Shampoo und Duschgel sind ebenfalls inklusive. Nur das verbrauchte Holz sollte am Ende des Urlaubs wieder aufgefüllt werden.
