House holiday rentals in Galápagos Islands

El alojamiento es muy útil si vas con familia y muy bonito! Si te gusta caminar está a 15-20 min del centro pero hay camionetas que siempre están por el barrio y por $1,50 te llevan a la zona de comercios!

Charles and Ximena were great hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Galapagos Cottages is an excellent location clos e to Tortuga Bay. Also, the coffee, milk be beer in the frigde was perfect.

Ximena and Charles were really great hosts. It was our first time visiting the Galapagos and they really made us feel welcomed. They organized everything we needed from the moment we arrived at the airport, helped us book tours, find restaurants, etc. The cottages are well stocked with breakfast, drinks and fresh fruit. It was really an excellent stay. We would happily stay here again.

We loved our stay at Shangri-la. It is in an area that can only be accessed by catching a water taxi from the waterfront at Puerto Ayores. This is much easier than it sounds. Water taxis run all the time and we never waited more than five minutes . The trip then takes five minutes and it’s very pleasant. It is then only a few minutes walk to the lovely home of Shangri-la. Juan met us in Puerto Ayores and helped us with our luggage and the water taxi on arrival and departure. The house is great. It has three bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living area and an awesome top level balcony with hammock and spa bath. It is very clean. The pool is great to have. The kitchen is well equipped. We liked being able to do some self-catering. It is a short walk to 3 restaurants and a beach. Communication was excellent. Juan stayed at a separate (but on site) residence. This was unexpected-we anticipated the place entirely to ourselves-but was not a problem, and he was very helpful. Highly recommended.

BOOK IT!!!! The Dock House exceeded our expectations! The home was spacious and spotless - exactly as listed. The private courtyard made use feel even more at home. Our ability to use the beautiful pool, have a delicious breakfast, and ride the bikes provided only added to the amazing stay! The home was fully stocked - outdoor shower for our sandy days, cups/plates, filtered water, towels, etc. The location was perfect - on the pier and within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, clubs, markets, etc. The staff we encountered were friendly and extremely accommodating - providing recommendations to enhance our experience. We highly recommend the Dock House as it was PERFECT! We hope to return one day! Thank you to everyone who made our stay GREAT!!!

Amazing ambiance and excellent service. Only complaint is partially my fault, but some direction on airport logistics prior to arrival would have made trip more enjoyable, I was unable to make it to destination upon arrival because ferries were closed, and come to realize this massive inconvenience could have been avoided by knowledgeable communication, most visitors are not locals!! it's not OK to assume visitors know these logistics. Staff was amazing and particularly Lorana was absolutely amazing and made our trip 5 star she cooked delicious meals at really reasonable prices. Thank You Lorana!!!

Wonderful Family Stay on Isabela! Highly Recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Tamara's place on beautiful Isabela Island! The accommodation was perfect for our family – comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a great base to explore the island. Tamara was a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The location was convenient, and we particularly appreciated how family-friendly the space felt. It made traveling with kids easy and enjoyable. If you're looking for a great place to stay on Isabela, especially with family, we can definitely recommend Tamara's place. Thank you for a memorable visit!

Gecko was a great place to stay, the hosts were lovely and very responsive to questions/queries. The apartment was cleaned almost every day and we had a supply of bottled water for our 2 week stay and just had to ask if we needed more and it was swiftly delivered. The walk into town is about 15 minutes which we enjoyed each time. We cooked in the apartment a few times, having an extra pan would have been useful but it was manageable. Lovely quiet outdoor space or table and chairs and hammocks. We arranged our airport transfers through Gecko and all went smoothly.

Fantastic stay at Sun & Wind. Beautiful grounds and spacious unit with everything we needed. HUGE master bath and kitchen! Would definitely stay again.

Excelente anfitrión, amable, atento, siempre comunicativo, nos sugirió lugares turísticos y actividades, siempre nos orientó dentro de la isla. El departamento cumplía con las especificaciones del anuncio, espacio acogedor, buena iluminación, ventilado, baño amplio, muy bonitos acabados y todo en buen estado.

Excelente atención del Capi. nos recibió desde el primer momento. traigan víveres para que preparen desayuno. como hay cocina y nevera puedes preparar refrigerio y enfriar bebidas. el lugar es muy tranquilo y todos conocen la casa del Capi. A la vuelta hay un minimarket donde comprar snack y poder llevar a los paseos. También nos ayudó con la coordinación de taxi para ir a nuestros tours.. y hasta la salida para ir al aeropuerto. ya que no todos los taxis recogen temprano pero don Ernesto tiene los contactos. También ellos te sugieren donde comer bueno y barato.

Asdru est un hôte très réactif et arrangeant, et la personne présente sur place facilement disponible en cas de besoin. Le logement est propre, grand (pour une famille de 4) et fonctionnel. Le quartier a peu d'intérêt mais calme. Il y a un mini market assez proche. Dans les points d'amélioration, il manque un distributeur d'eau potable et il n'y a pas d'air climatisé dans la chambre parentale. Le ventilateur est apprécié quoique bruyant.

Great location close to pier, very walkable. Easy check-in. Cold A/C! We didn’t use the common areas but they looked very welcoming and accommodating.

Wonderful location on San Cristobal! We loved relaxing in the hammocks on the front porch, watching the action in the harbor, and listening to the sea lions. There are a couple of rocks across the street where the Blue Footed Boobies like to perch, so we loved going to observe them up close. The sea lion colony is right there, it was so much fun watching the families - mothers and nursing babies, sea lions playing with each other. We could actually see the house across the harbor from the pier when we got off the ferry, and we walked right to it. On our last day we walked a half mile to the airport. We also walked to Playa Loberia which was about 2 miles each way. The snorkeling there was amazing - we swam with sea turtles and all kinds of fish. The house was great - the 3 bedrooms had great air conditioners for sleeping at night. Our stay was wonderful and we'd love to go back!

This home was a dream, plenty of space for our family. We appreciate Sra. Olga's help with check in and making us feel right at home. The amazing outdoor spaces gave us opportunities to see the abundant wildlife the island has to offer right from the patio area. The rooftop is amazing and perfect to enjoy a cold drink. The location of this home is also perfect, a quick walk to the ferry and water taxi arrival/departure area. We will definitely stay in our next visit to Santa Cruz.
