Andasmauet 10 is a small house from 1838 in the middle of Stavanger. The ceiling height is low, the floor creaks and the windows are handmade with bars. Yes, that's exactly what a 186-year-old house should be like. Here you get to experience living in one of the houses in what has been designated as Northern Europe's best preserved wooden housing. The house consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. There is a sofa bed in the living room. Both kitchen and bathroom are completely renovated in 2025. PLEASE NOTE! The stairs are original and steep!

My place is close to the city center, public transportation, parks and nightlife. The place is suitable for one person but can accommodate 2 people. It costs NOK 200 extra per night if you are two. Bed (90 cm + mattress on the floor). There is the possibility to make simple food. Cooking plate, microwave ++ NB! Kitchenette and bathroom/toilet are in the same room. A living room with a 90 cm bed. If 2 guests, extra mattress. The apartment is in the basement. Ceiling height approx. 197 cm. Bed linen and towels are included. Free parking in the street.

The airy living room is in an open solution to a practical kitchen, and in the living room there is also a foldable staircase up to a loft/alcove of approx. 6 sqm.

The living/sleeping area is roughly 20m2 with high ceilings, heated floor and a TV with chromecast. The "kitchen" area has a fridge, sink, cooking top (for one pot) and a microwave oven. Free parking outside the apartment. 15 minute walk from city centre of Stavanger. The basement is under our house, so some degree of noise should be expected during the daytime (kids).

Perfect for a short and central stay in Stavanger, located just 3-4 minutes walk from the Central Station. Although being super central, it is also in a safe and quiet street which gives the best of both worlds. The place has a folder with info about things to see and do, some simple cooking gear, a small bathroom with toilet and a sink, but the only downside is that it has no shower. Just make sure you understand that before booking, and I'm sure you'd love the rest😊
