Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

Beautiful house south of Heby

Welcome to a farm with a stylish and comfortable house dating back to 1892. Beautifully located in the Örsundaån valley with forest, fields and very nice surroundings. In addition, in a quiet and private location with a large garden and walkable gravel roads. The house constitutes a wing building to the larger house which today is unoccupied which gives you an undisturbed accommodation. You can easily get here on Uppsala County regional bus 225 between Heby and Enköping, which stops 200 metres from the property.

The villa is located 4 km from Storsjöns pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes' drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Currently, there is only access to the lake in winter.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Home closer to the water is hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. 2 supboard available for rent, as well as electric motor to the boat. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

Lea's basement - Cozy cottage in the countryside with fireplace

In the small village of Delbo, 10 km north of Sala in Västmanland, lies this little gem. Lea's basement is a small house of about 25 m2 with year-round standard. Works as a self-catering for a long time, but also if you just want to stay overnight. Lea's basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, fireplace, kitchenette, toilet and shower. The cottage is located on the outskirts of a village where the forest begins, a river flows next to the cottage. 4 km to the nearest shop and 10 km to the city of Sandviken. Nice berries and mushroom places nearby. There is a small forest lake 30 minutes walk from the cottage.
