Built in 1939, Dongchonjae It's not a fancy hanok. Seoul City and the government (Korea Tourism Organization) have recognized it as a traditional hanok. Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services. Hamdeok is relatively close from the Jeju airport (about 30 minute car ride), it has beautiful beaches, and close access to many tourist attractions. My house is only 1 minute from Marine science institute bus stop. From my rooftop you can enjoy the oceanview. You can feel free to use and eat anything in the house, in the yard, refrigerator, cabinet, or shelves. I can host maximum 10 and you can pay extra guests at your arrival .
