Gap of Dunloe Shepherd's Cottage

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. Nestled in the heart of Gap of Dunloe Glacial Valley, Beaufort, Killarney on the Ring of Kerry, spend some quiet time in our lovingly restored 1800s cottage. The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

The Gap Cottage, Gap of Dunloe

The Gap Cottage is located in the Gap of Dunloe beside the world famous Kate Kearney's cottage Bar & Restaurant. The Coffee Pot and Heather restaurants are only a few mins stroll away. The cottage comprises of two bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed, the second bedroom with a bunk bed) both ensuite and a kitchen con living area. The rear of the cottage faces the Purple mountain whilst the front of the cottage faces Strickeen mountain.

It is ideally situated 8km from Killarney town and It is directly across from Kate Kearneys Cottage which offers traditional Irish music every night.The Coffee Pot Café also serves full Irish breakfast every morning and there is plenty of car parking space available. Marie's is situated on the Sheep's Head on the wild Atlantic Way. This is a Beautifully Finished one bed cottage with a cosy feel. Just over 100 meters from the sea and a short walk to award winning restaurant and bar. Marie's is tastefully renovated and is suitable for 2 adults. (travel cot available) The living area is spacious. Great area for walks and exploring west Cork.
