Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

With proximity to Vänern, there is the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest cottage for a total of 8 people! Bike path connects this idyll with nice beaches just 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp/Göta Kanal can be reached by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 minutes). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop on road 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in this classic red cottage. The cottage is located on our property where there is another residential building. Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Lake Hornborga, historic Varnhem or thriving Vallebygden. Lilla Lilleskog is also a great stay when you want to visit Skara Sommarland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. Experience the luxury of nature and simplicity. Secluded just a hundred meters from the lake, surrounded by trees lies your cabin. A spot to just relax or hang out without a requirement. Take a morning swim in the lake or sit and cozy in front of the wood stove. At the lake, there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can use freely for a fee. Newly built luxury beach house (1) in Varamon Motala

Newly built Attefall house with the absolute best location on the longest lake in the Nordic region and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafes and restaurants, it's a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is sheltered in a cove that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to padel courts, tennis courts, miniature golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are brought yourself, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Water pipes/smoking not allowed!

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all amenities from our time but with saved details from before. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's sights are close to the distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are fur allergic.

Sagotorp

Here you live simply but fabulously. The cottage is offgrid but with practical solutions for a comfortable stay. Tourist attractions such as Göta Canal, the largest lake bath in the Nordic region and Berg's locks are close. Borensberg (5 min by car, 10 min by bike) offers swimming areas, mini golf courses, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, interior design shops, good municipal transport and pharmacy. Upon your arrival, we welcome you and go through everything practical that brings an offgrid home. Welcome!

Nationalpark Tiveden 30 min. by car Göta Kanal starting in Sjötorp 20 min. by car

Backa 16

Welcome to Backa 16! Peaceful environment with proximity to the lake Skagern about 2 km on a nice small gravel road. There is a beach and a place for a boat. We have bikes, boat as well as life jackets for free disposal during the summer period. At Backa 16 there is a glazed patio, sauna and hot tub. The whole plot is fenced so dogs can run freely. Nice walking paths. Indoors there is a fireplace in living room. Check-in information is given at least 24 hours before.

Uggletorps guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. The cottage is located on the edge of the forest. Located between two lakes, Lake Vänern and Skagern. Close to golf course. 40 minutes from Tivedens National Park. 15 minutes to Sjötorp with Göta Canal. 10 minutes to grocery store. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer in a building next door. There's also a shower and toilet shared with another person.

Skagern Lake House

A lake house above average, the house was built in 2020. The house is located in a small neighbourhood area, there is also a newly built loft in a building next to the lake house which will be available to rent as well. The loft has space for 2 people, with access to a double bed, without toilet and water. This will accessible in the original lake house. We do not accept animals in the house.
