Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Sjötorp - Newly renovated cottage by Lake Vänern

Newly renovated small cottage 2021 with a separate bedroom with double bed and wardrobes and a sleeping loft with two single beds. Fiber is located in the house. Approximately 100 meters to the beach. Good swimming for children. Bike path to Sjötorp where Göta Kanal is located and small cozy restaurants and a small well-stocked grocery store in Lyrestad, which is 7 km from Sjötorp with Göta Kanal. Go down to the edge of Lake Vänern in the evening and enjoy the sunset on the water horizon. Final cleaning is done by the guest, the landlord is not responsible for final cleaning.

Nice cottage near Vänern & Sjötorp!

With proximity to Lake Vänern, there is the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest house for a total of 8 people! Bike path connects this idyll with nice beaches just 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp/Göta Kanal can be reached by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 minutes). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop on Highway 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

Raw nature hotel, Hassel

Experience the luxury of nature and simplicity. Secluded just a hundred feet from the lake, surrounded by trees is your cabin. A place to just relax or hang out with no requirements. Take a morning swim in the lake or sit and cozy up in front of the wood stove. By the lake there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can use freely. It's a special experience you don't want to miss. Tiveden National Park with its easily accessible and wild nature is a popular excursion destination we really recommend. We are happy to advise you about tours.

House on the Farm

Here you can experience the silence and take a break from life. Close to nature and swimming. In the house, there is an electric sauna and access to a spa bath outside. At our own lake, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna and swimming in the lake, why not a trip on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a ride in the surroundings. No smoking indoors in the entire property, smoking outdoors allowed. In winter, we charge a fee of SEK 200 for ice hole making if guests wish to swim in the winter

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

Newly built luxury beach house (1) in Varamon Motala

Newly built house with absolutely the best location on the Nordic's longest lake beach and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafés and restaurants, it is a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is protected in a bay that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to paddle tennis courts, tennis courts, mini golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are not included, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Hookahs/smoking are not allowed!

Newly-equipped house with its own bay and rowboat

Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

You live about 80 meters from the lake, her you can find barbecue area, tables and volleyball, boule court. You can enjoy walk in the woods, collecting berries or mushrooms, fishing or playing golf around the corner at Ribbingsfors Golfclub. Nationalpark Tiveden 30 min. by car Göta Kanal starting in Sjötorp 20 min. by car

Peaceful accommodation close to nature.

At Ängalyckan, you live in your own small cabin in the middle of the wonderful area of Tiveden, close to both Tiveden National Park, beautiful lakes, hiking trails, bike routes and more. The accommodation has two beds and a sofa bed for two. It also features a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, etc. In a separate building there is a shower and toilet which are sometimes shared with others. There is also a sauna in a separate building.

Uggletorp's guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.

Welcome to a newly built small cottage right on the lake shore where you can enjoy yourself regardless of the weather. Well-sized wood-fired hot tub with bubble system and LED lighting, electric sauna and large veranda with garden furniture, sun chairs and barbecue area as well as beautiful views of Laxsjön where you can easily take a refreshing dip in the clear water with a sandy bottom via the bathing steps.
