The Duck Hut

The Duck Hut is positioned on the edge of our beautiful fishing lake. Situated at High Thorn Farm, on the edge of The Lake District. A bit like indoor camping, The Duck Hut is a rustic camping cabin with a few added comforts you don't get in a tent! Simple and basic facilities, quiet and peaceful, you can take in the beautiful scenery and watch the wildlife go by, whatever the weather. (A car is highly recommended) We are 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere , 11 miles from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick.

Honeypot Cottage is a converted stable on a small private country estate in the Lake District's Lyth Valley, with private drive, ponds and fields, perfect for exploring the area, well located, rural and peaceful.
