  • Paddle-Boarding, Guided Tour
Unless we agree otherwise, we will launch from a grand old boathouse on the eastern shore of Windermere. With easy access to the water it is perfect for beginners! After honing your skills by the boathouse we can head out onto the lake to explore. There are always beautiful old boats to admire and if we're lucky we may catch a glimpse of an old steam boat or one of the low flying Jets that train over the lake. During our trip I can share my knowledge of the local area, informing you on anything from the local wildlife and surrounding mountains, to the best spots to grab a bite to eat after the activity. Towards the end of the activity, if you feel comfortable, I may put some distance between us to allow you to fully soak up the surroundings in peace. Other things to note - - Please be aware, for safety reasons I can't take people paddling on a 1:1 basis. If you don't have a travel buddy please don't book, instead message me with the dates you are around and I'll try and find someone else to join us. - If your preferred date during the month of August isn’t listed I’m afraid I’m probably booked up. For September enquires please message me - The ability to swim and a reasonable level of fitness is required. Any questions with regards to this please contact me. COVID19: All sessions adhere to government and British Canoeing guidelines

  • Meditate with horses
A brief but inspiring discussion on meditation and why we do it with horses will motivate you to be dedicated and vigilant in your practice. Then we go and meet the horses and I will teach you the basics in animal meditation. Then we groom the horses; this is the best way to get the horses to accept you as herd members as they bond by grooming each other. As we start to meditate, the more stable, connected and balanced the client, the easier it is for the horse to step into his role of soothing, regulating, teaching and inspiring with his gentle and peaceful energy. Often the horses will lie down and we can get down on the grass with them and be close and connected. We work on touching the horses in specific areas and watching for significant reactions to detect connection. There is often an opportunity to test your connection by asking the horses to follow you without a lead and then you can take a little walk together. We often finish with a beautiful guided meditation which will be chosen depending on the specific needs of the client. We always end the session with gratitude and a big horsey cuddle. Other things to note In the summer there may be flies. Bring sun hats and sun cream. Wrap up warm and water proof on winter and please wear wellies or firm boots. No experience of horses or meditation needed but please arrive with an open heart and an open mind.

  • Sunset Paddle-Boarding, Guided Tour
See Windermere and its surroundings from a truly unique perspective! When we meet up, you'll be provided with all the equipment you'll need and be talked through some basic paddleboarding skills. Don't worry, Paddle Boards are surprisingly stable and easy to control so you'll quickly get to grips with forward paddling, turning and stopping. Once you're ready, we'll head out onto the lake to explore and watch the sun drop down behind the hills. If you're feeling confident with your paddling ability, you'll have some space to enjoy the moment in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Once the sun has dropped and the light is beginning to fade, we'll make our way back to our starting point. Other things to note: - For safety reasons I don’t operate on a 1:1 basis. If you don't have a travel buddy please don't book.
