ConsiderationsGift credits can’t be used to pay for changes to existing reservations, or for scheduled or upcoming payments of long-term stays or payment plans.

How can I purchase gift cards?
To purchase Airbnb digital gift cards that can be sent via email or text, please visit our Airbnb gift cards programme page. Airbnb gift cards can also be purchased at various retailers in shops throughout the United States. Currently, gift cards can only be purchased and redeemed by individuals in the United States with a payment method that was issued in the United States. To order gift cards in bulk, visit our corporate purchasing site. Bulk orders require a $1,000 USD minimum purchase.

Why do I need to add an additional payment method?
You’ll need to have a payment method that was issued in the United States before you can redeem a gift card. If your total differs from your gift credit balance, it will be used to pay the difference.
What if I lose my gift card?
You should treat Gift Cards like cash. Once we electronically transmit a digital Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, or deliver a physical Gift Card to the carrier, whichever is applicable, the risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.
