Thanks Tim for hosting us - we had a lovely weekend in Rye!

We loved our stay at Sandy Toes! It’s a fantastic property with three generous double bedrooms, one with an ensuite and balcony, one with a terrace and its own living space, and one next to the main bathroom. A very well equipped kitchen with a lovely balcony that catches the sun in the afternoons and you can see the sunset over the neighbouring properties. Just a few minutes walk to the dunes and main beach, and a few minutes more to the dog friendly beach from 1 May to 30 September. A well equipped store with beach chairs, buckets and spades and even sledges for the dunes. We did a circular walk to Rye, gladly taking Lisa’s recommendation for Sunday Lunch at the Globe Inn, just a few minutes walk from Rye with its beautiful shops. We also did a circular walk to the nature reserve, stopping for tea and cake in the Discovery Centre. Lisa was an excellent host, with proactive communication, highlighting local events and recommendations for pubs and restaurants. We hope to come back!

We primarily chose Slip Cottage for its location and private parking, as we know parking in Whitstable can be difficult. The cottage was just minutes from the sea front and surrounded by nice Independent shops and galleries. There were so many places to eat that we only used the very well equipped kitchen to make cups of coffee! The location is down a private lane, not a through road so very quiet. The neighbours were very friendly. Although only a double, the main bed had a really good mattress and was very comfortable. All the furnishings were good quality, with twin beds in the second bedroom. With two full bathrooms there was a choice of shower or bath, plus a downstairs loo as well! Stephen was a great host offering lots of advice about favourite places to eat. He also kindly texted once the cottage was ready so that we could go in earlier than the published arrival time. All in all a great find which we would happily return to.

Absolutely loved Barefoot Beach House! Location is fantastic, literally sitting on the sand. Home is warm and inviting, clearly loved by a family. Mark was responsive and helpful. Will definitely look to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for first rate beach stay!

Ideal location to explore Whitstable as a newcomer or as someone returning for the 10th+ time. The place is very central, ideal for two couples (in our case). Has all the basics covered. Good showers etc. Instructions were fine. Access is easy. Nothing to dislike at all. We'd happily come again. Note: There is a pub opposite which can be a little loud during pub hours, but you're probably out then anyway!!

Fabulous place to stay right by the beach and not too far from Rye. The house had everything we needed to cook in and was a perfect layout for an extended family to relax and socialise. The garden was a good size with a lovely hammock and table tennis table too. We all had a great time and would highly recommend this as a place to stay. Georgina was a good communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you

The property was exactly what we were after. Spotless and had everything we needed. Great location for getting to things to do. Would certainly recommend Duncan as a host and would happily stay here again in the future.

Lucy was super friendly and responsive to our messages, even giving us recommendations for local dog walks to help tire out our energetic golden retriever. The downstairs living area and 2 main bedrooms were really spacious, comfortable and well equipped with kitchen equipment, towels, toiletries etc. Plus a fantastic walk in shower en-suite and outside areas to relax in too. All in all a great stay!

We fell in love with Evegate Manor Barn from the moment we arrived! It’s in a stunning location, felt very private and was the perfect first night away for us and our four month old baby! Larissa was responsive, understanding when we needed to change dates and was so helpful and welcoming! The pool and hot tub are an added bonus and our little one loved to see the chickens and explore the garden! Having the artisan village next door was amazing and we enjoyed our evening at the pub! This listing has everything you could ask for and we would love to come back later this year! Amazing hosts too, thankyou for making our stay so easy ☺️

We had a great stay at White Hill Lodge. The directions and check in instructions were spot on, so it was easy enough to find the place. Dom was a great host, who was really lovely and genuinely cared about us making the most of our stay. The local village is beautiful and a stones throw away from lovely countryside walks, where you can take in the views and enjoy the surrounding serenity. The Lodge was clean and perfect for the two of us, with a well fitted-out kitchen, supported by essentials like cling film, foil, milk and cooking oil. The WiFi was great and we had no issues at all during our stay. Shoreham train station is a short walk away and trains to London were quick and reliable, with us returning to Shoreham late at night after watching shows, having no difficulties getting back to the Lodge using public transport. We'd certainly recommend the Lodge for a quiet, tranquil stay, within an easy commute to the capital. Thanks for our stay Dom! All the best!

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

Plantagenet is actually one of my favourite places to stay in the whole world!! It sounds v dramatic but I travel a LOT with work and staying there just fills me with happiness. The location is completely beautiful, the cottage is so lovely and filled with such great energy. It has everything you could ever dream of for a relaxing stay. The swimming pool is awesome and so is the hot tub! There are so many beautiful spots around to drive to for lovely walks and long pub lunches/dinners. Tim and Maite are the BEST hosts you could ever wish for! They are so welcoming and extremely responsive. I have been staying at Plantagenet for a number of years now and cannot recommend it enough! I can't wait to go back for my next stay.

We had such a gorgeous stay at the Yurt! Such a lovely, peaceful, quirky place. We were two adults and two kids (3 and 6), and the yurt was a great size for us, surprisingly spacious and very cozy and comfortable. The sunken bath in the garden was amazing - idyllic and enjoyed by all! The separate bldg with the movie snug and kitchen (and a shower and seating area) was also really fun, very conveniently stocked and just lovely. Everything was fab, we’d absolutely recommend and would love to come back again! Also - this location was perfect, a short walk through a lovely park and by a canal into town, and a huge Sainsbury’s nearby which was convenient. Wish we could have stayed longer, kids didn’t want to leave!

For my first holiday away with my 2 beautiful children I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, simply a lovely place to be. We spent a lot of time in the cottage and use if the new fire pit in the evenings as it was so peaceful and relaxing. 2 main attractions for us were Pooh Corner with Ashdown Forrest for all your Winnie the Pooh adventures, and Hever Castle which is a lovely day out. Tennis courts and a lovely pool to boot ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline left some beautiful touches, some Easter treats for my children and a host of food and fresh juice, lovely 😍❤️

The urban stay flat I had was PERFECT. It was spotless, and had all the little things you could think of (including a nespresso machine). The building was private so it felt safe and everyone was super friendly and helpful in the building. The amenities were great, having a gym to use was amazing as well as a separate coworking space for when I had to do some work. The flat was walking distance to so many great shopping spots, restaurants and transportation ways. I would 100% stay with them again when in London for long periods of time!

Dan was a very responsive host and gave clear instructions for us to follow. After a day at Port lympne this was a perfect stop off overnight. The place smelt so fresh and clean on arrival and had lovely little touches (shells/pictures on the wall) made it feel homely. The road was very peaceful. My daughter's enjoyed playing the games that were accessible to them. We would definitely book again.

Nina was a wonderful host, and the cabin is cosy and gorgeous. The garden is completely private and enclosed - perfect for dogs. There was nowhere for the dog to escape. Great to be able to light a fire, felt like posh, warm glamping. Great facilities, including a gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.

Beautiful stay in Whitstable, such a great location close to the beach and to the high street. It was very smooth checking in and out and Sarah was very responsive. Thank you very much :)

My wife, small dog and myself had a long stay in this wonderful flat in Wanstead. We felt right at home with all the amenities you would expect and some nice luxury touches to make it feel extra special. The property was well presented and thoroughly clean throughout. The host Charlotte was super helpful and friendly and we communicated throughout the stay, zero issues and was great to deal with such lovely people. We loved the area of Wanstead village, the property is literally on the High St where there are a plethora of good shops and amazing local restaurants to try out. Lovely walks nearby to explore nature. A highlight for us was private parking as we had our vehicle with us, the forecourt was spacious and made it very convenient to come and go. Very close to 2 tube stations on the Central line which makes getting into central London a breeze. Would highly recommend this property and the hosts, A+ experience. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful and relaxing. We loved our stay here. Having breakfast on the decking, taking in wonderful views each morning was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

Primose Lodge is a fabulous small barn conversion set in the rolling East Sussex countryside. It has everything you would expect to find in this well appointed and cosy getaway. A home from home. Definitely recommend.

Justyna and every member of her family are warm and hospitable. The accommodation is secure and stylish.

Our stay at Marble cottage was simply beautiful ❤️ there isn't anything more you could wish for in marble cottage. The location is so peaceful and beautiful and the cottage itself has gorgeous, tranquil energy. Thank you Maite for being an incredible host ❤️
