Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gisborne District

I have always loved Alice in Wonderland story and Julia's house reflected all.of that. it is quirky, beautifully curated and a delight. the rooms were lovely and the garden large and well kept.

Beautiful villa, lots of room. Close to everything we needed. Very tidy and well kept villa. Host was so wonderful. My family thoroughly loved it.

Thank you for an amazing stay! The view was to die for and the home was spacious, clean and absolutely beautiful exactly what we love in a home. Sam was an excellent host! Highly recommend this home to anyone, it was sooo hard to leave but we will definitely be back!!

A peaceful retreat with a stunning lake view and a lovely outdoor space to unwind with a drink. The place was spotless, warm, and cozy, with everything needed for a perfect getaway. Being so close to the Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk made it even more special. Patrick was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Such a fabulous stay - thanks! We were so surprised to discover the Christmas tree and decorations which made it feel like our home while we stated. The fish was delicious and the spaces generously soaked up our large family. I think the photos undersell what a beautiful space it is.

It was great to be able to use Nick's house. Very clean and easy to gain entry. No steps is always a plus. Nice open plan layout. It was lovely and warm at night with a lovely gas heater and wall panels in the bedrooms. Very close to town, only about a 5 minute drive. It was handy for us as all our family live close by. The house is in a peaceful area and quite location. Would wholeheartedly recommend to vist Nick's house.

stayed a week. and enjoyed my time with the family. will definitely book again. owners always responed in a timely manner. house was immaculate with everything you need. there was firewood out the back staked up ready to go which was a bonus for the cold nights. would definitely recommend this place 😀
