Holiday rentals with beach access in Gisborne

Stunning location. Stepping out onto the beach was absolutely divine Geraldine was a lovely host, responsive and helpful. Very cute location. I would love to go back. Very doable to get to Gisborne especially if you hire a car.

A tranquil hidden gem. Enjoyed the back garden with tui and kereru swooping overhead in the morning and warm sunshine in the afternoon. A lovely host who helped when needed then left us be. The studio had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would love to come back to explore the region further.

Great place for a couple of nights. Comfy bed. Right next to wharf, the beach, and riverbank walkway. Walked to Farmers Market on Saturday morning. As mentioned in the comments, there seems to be a bit of angst about AirBnB and the parking situation - a resident we met when we arrived told us: "AirBnB guests can't park onsite." (we didn't park onsite, nor did we even ask anyone).

Amazing waterfront property with easy boardwalk or beach walk straight out the front door.

These hosts were great with excellent communication. Place is attached to the main house but still feels very private. Very close to the beach and easy drive to town, so location was perfect. only thing is it is close to the main highway, although there was very little traffic at night time, so it didn't disturb us at all. works easily stay again. Fresh fruit, 🥑 and beer in the fridge was a nice touch

Beautiful stay, the place & view is absolutely stunning We throughly enjoyed our time spent there and have recommended it to everyone The basket of children’s toys under the tv was a hit with our grandson, just that little touch of home made it so special for him Stepping out & across the road to do a spot of fishing was amazing for my husband Then eating oysters off the rocks & swimming & snorkeling and watching our grandson building sand castles in the creamy white sand was special A place where beautiful memories are made Thank you Meagan for sharing your beautiful little bit of paradise with us

Wainui beach is a fantastic location with surfer like atmosphere. The house was elevated from the sand but 10 stairs away. House has very high ceilings making it seem huge! The living areas face the beach. We had 3 couples staying and it was perfect.

We really enjoyed our holiday here - beautiful view and a great place to hang with our two families together. A lovely home with all you need for eating, chilling and holidaying together.

We had an amazing stay. The peace and serenity was eveything we needed. The view is beautiful and included a spectacular sunrise and sunset. Access to the beach is easy and directly in front of the house. Well equiped & so grateful to find a place like this that is dog friendly. Such a bonus. We’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful place to stay - easy to access, lovely and private and beautiful beds, furniture and amenities. Everything is thought through and exactly where you need it. The weather shifted during our week and the pods were super warm and cosy. Great family home for the week.

Christine takes pride in this property, in one of NZ’s most undeveloped locations and is a very friendly host who will happily chat, but only if it’s obvious you want to. The house is spotless. There’s everything here you might need and a grocery store and takeaways just along the road.

You can’t get a better location than this! House was great and would definitely recommend to others!

We had the most wonderful stay at Aisling’s home! The house was perfectly situated, just a stone’s throw from the beach and only a short 6-8 minute drive to Opotiki township. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. The doors and windows leading out to the deck were a highlight, allowing the fresh air to flow through the home. The deck itself was perfect for relaxing, whether it was sipping morning coffee or enjoying dinner with family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was an ample supply of bedding, which added an extra layer of comfort. The entire home exceeded my expectations, and my family thoroughly enjoyed our 2-week stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend Aisling’s home – it’s a true gem!
