Holiday rentals with breakfast in Giza Governorate

I have to start with something very important, the place is for open-minded people with adventurous soul! If you are looking for a boring 5 star hotel that's not your place. The place has an amazing view to the piramids and the tent on the rooftop gives you the feeling you are in home. The room was very cozy with a heater for the night if needed, air-conditioner, and a hairdryer. The bathroom is small and not luxurious but it's absolutely enough to take a nice shower and do your daily routine. Now about the host! Adel is an amazing bedouin man who is going to make you feel home and very welcome. He is going to feed with traditional food and most probably you won't be able to finish your portion! He's generous and very helpful. He organized everything for me! He showed me around with his car and no matter it seems a doggy area I felt totally safe with him. The best were the conversations with him about life and desert. Just ask him and he's going to make it happen! Recommended

I stayed at a homestay in Cairo for one day, and the Lojaina was very responsive to my messages. The host’s father personally greeted me and was incredibly friendly and attentive, giving me a thorough introduction to the room. He even took me to a nearby gas station to fuel up and wash the car, and recommended a great candy shop nearby. The location of the house was perfect, just a 6-7 minute taxi ride to Cairo Airport, which made everything very convenient. If I visit Cairo again, I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Good location only a minutes walk from the pyramid entrance. We felt safe and comfortable here. Good value for money with breakfast and drinks included.

This is a great place to stay. You can see the pyramids from the rooftop. People are nice and kind. The driver was very eager to show you places worthwhile visiting!

Great clean apartment, great location close to rehab market and the main road so easy to get around Cairo. Only caveat is that being close to the main road is that you can hear cars at night so not for light sleepers.

Had a lovely stay. The view and proximity to the Great Pyramid was amazing…highly recommend. The atmosphere in the home with the kittens and staff on hand was always peaceful and clean, and any questions or needs were readily handled by Hassan, the home manager. We mainly had breakfast in the home and ate other meals out. The breakfast was well prepared and tasty. The same thing was served each day; however, variety was accommodated on request and was equally good. There were two of us renting the entire home so hot water seemed plentiful. WiFi was a bit spotty but we were able to navigate it. We used Mahmoud as the recommended driver and he was the best…highly recommend. For a guide, we used Miriam as recommended by the home neighbor and friend Kareem, and she was equally great. Very knowledgeable and professional. Also, for assisting with a few pictures, she had a good eye and was accommodating and took lovely shots. Overall, a great experience.

This place is truly the best accommodation i have ever had. The awesome Nubian house inside a green paradise is perfect for a short and even a long stay in Cairo. Many thanks to the hosts Garry and Carole for a warm welcome and the care for our stay in this place! I am looking forward to the next stay!

The view. Pyramid views every time you look out the living room door. This is why you book this apartment. It’s in an urban residential neighborhood, so that means street food, shops, local restaurants, and local people living their lives. Authentic Egypt. Always felt safe, day and night. Long 40-50 minute drive to downtown Cairo, but coming home to the view is amazing. Thx Khaled for sharing your home.

Lovely apartment in a great location near the pyramids. The host had great communication and was friendly and very accommodating. A very enjoyable stay.

This is one of my favorite stays in Cairo, simple natural decor and furnishings and daily cleaning at no cost . Bedding is my number one criteria when selecting a place and this one didn’t disappoint, good quality and comfortable. The location is great , there is a restaurant or a cafe within a 2 minute walk in any direction. Very nice , I will most likely return.

The ideal place to wake up in the morning admiring the pyramids and the Giza sphinx, at nights it is the perfect place to watch the light show on them. The service is excellent, very good predisposition for everything. I had a great time and would definitely choose it again.

Kamal and his amazing family were some of the most attentive and kind people that I have ever met on my travels. They always welcomed me each day with smiles and joyful energy. They were genuinely concerned for my well-being, not only on their property, but in their neighborhood. Despite the busy and noisy location of the pyramids, they always offered assistance to help me get to and from. They will also make sure that your desires are met and that you have many options to optimize your length of stay there. They actually go “above and beyond” in my opinion to offer an amazing opportunity to see many parts of Egypt. The view from the rooftop is spectacular. They were very attentive to my food allergies and offer a great variety of options. Mohamad Ali, my joyful and kind driver, thank you my new friend! Abdul and Mona, my guides were fabulous! So grateful for their knowledge of history and patience with me as a new visitor to Egypt. This family is now a part of my heart!

For starters, Sheriff was a great host. He let us in earlier in our room and stay on the property after the hour. we arrived very tired and yes. breakfast and he immediately prepared us something to eat so we don't go to the pyramids on an empty stomach. He gave us the best recommendations, and offered us tours without pressure. We actually don't need them and treated us amazing. Believe me that after a few weeks in Egypt they will thank a lot for not being pressured to buy things. The room is great, very clean and comfortable and the beds and pillows are comfortable. The same is the shower, good pressure and hot water. The view of the terrace overlooks the pyramids, so you can see them all in time that you are there. The entrance to the pyramid plateau is twenty meters away, so the location is great for visiting it. obvious that the street is somewhat noisy because it is right at the entrance, but nothing serious.We are very happy and grateful to Sheriff and his people

Unbeatable location to visit the pyramids of Giza and its surroundings. The room was bigger and more comfortable than I expected and the price/benefit ratio was satisfactory. Giza is dirty, but the hotel is above average in the area as much cleaning. Very good service, people are very friendly, communication was good from the start. If you are traveling from Latin America I recommend accepting the assistance for the transfer to and from the airport. Consider that on the street all the signs are in Arabic and that the city is chaotic. Before the trip I found the tours offered to me at the hotel a little expensive; but upon arrival we decided to hire them because they were totally private with very friendly Spanish guides and they were of great help to make the best use of the stay and enjoy the full experience. The Tour by the Pyramids included in addition to what they offered, lots of fun photographs of the whole tour and a good meal. The view of the pyramids and the sphinx from the room is amazing at all hours and hard to improve. Same as the view from the cafe on top. At night we were able to enjoy the light and sound show at no cost, from the hotel terrace, enjoying good food and drinks.

We took a tour of the Bayt Yakan with Alaa, the owner and architect, and it was beautiful and amazing the work that he and his wife Ola have done to restore the house and also to strengthen the cohesiveness of the neighborhood. There was a very joyous new baby party in the courtyard of local people one night of our stay. To really take advantage of your stay, best to spend most of your time in the outside patio areas or courtyard areas (where you will be surrounded by two cats 😀). Or, spend time in the library, especially if you prefer reliable internet. The apartment was quiet for sleep, and we slept well. The food cooked for breakfast is very good. The same women cooks will make lunch or dinner also, and it is delicious.

It was a very memorable peaceful relaxing stay for my bachelorette with a bunch of friends. Fady & Sarah were so helpful & welcoming from the 1st beginning & also responsive. The place is captivating & the mood is just perfect. It’s nearby almost everything in Tunis village so you just wander around without any cars. Toktok is also available everywhere around. I really enjoyed the stay, breakfast & great photos around the house:) Thanks Sarah & Fady; see you again!
