The cabin consists of a living room/kitchen with sofa bed (140 cm) as well as a large bedroom with a continental bed (180 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm). There is an outhouse, as well as a shower in the form of a bath in Randsfjorden. Welcome!

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Two canoes & one boat included, ready for taking you out for fishing or just for an adventure up the river. An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

18th century timbered wooden house close to everything

Stay centrally in Lillehammer with stunning views of Mjøsa, in a traditional timbered wooden house with a unique history. Vågåhuset is a timber building that was moved from Vågå to Lillehammer in 1913. The house was originally one of three buildings on a farm in Vågå in Gudbrandsdalen. According to Maihaugen/digital museum, the house was bought and moved to Lillehammer by the painter Frederik Collett.
