The location is truly as beautiful as the photos show. So many special touches from decor to the spa like bathroom made the stay extra cozy. The house is extremely well stocked, especially the kitchen and the shed! We loved kayaking. Much more shallow than we anticipated which for us was perfect. The stars were visible while in the hot tub at night. We loved all the available spots to sit and relax. We used the fire pit to stay warm one morning while enjoying the sunrise with our coffee. We used the grill for dinner one night as well as dining out at the recommended local spots. The only minor inconveniences were not having screens on the sliding doors, running out of toilet paper (but the DG grocery is close) and the WiFi went out and Robert never responded to my texts. (I was able to locate and restart the router on my own.) All in all it was a wonderful spot for a quick getaway to unwind!

Chip & Courtney are great host that had no trouble communicating with my group & I. They too had a binder/folder with simple and easy house rules along with things to do around the area. The home itself was very spacious, clean and beautiful. We felt right at home. Thanks so much for having us once again 😌

Absolutely beautiful overlook to the water from the entire rear of the house. Huge deck with plenty of seating and things to do. The inside is very spacious and had plenty of room for our group. We would visit again in the future without hesitation!

Absolutely beautiful! Clean, comfortable and gorgeous view! The beds were comfortable and spacious. Upgraded bathrooms with excellent water pressure. Fully stocked upgraded kitchen with quality appliances and everything you need if you wanted to cook. Easy quick drive to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Newport News and Fort Eustis. TV’s in each bedroom and living room that were easy to use. The back yard view was our favorite. We enjoyed waking up to the view every day! Highly recommend!

this was our second time visiting after 2 years it looked fresh and clean and beautiful as our first stay the house is beautifully appointed with furnishings and all the comforts of home right down to drink shaker and hand mixer needed for me to make goodies to take to my families home nearby they also filled fridge with all sorts of goodies like eggs butter bagels juice pancake mix and strawberries just all sorts of things it really made us feel just like home can’t wait to go back again next year

This Airbnb was very convenient to Severn Yachting Center. We were able to work on our boat all day and enjoy being in a home at night. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Super safe area that is right on the water! Communication with owner was top notch! Highly recommend staying here!!!

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! We thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable, peaceful stay in this house and took advantage of the waterfront for fishing off the dock and canoeing in the bay. The open plan kitchen and family room were great for relaxing and the picture windows were spectacular. While the kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, we highly recommend a visit to the Merroir Tasting Room and Deltaville Tap & Rawbar.

Karen's place has made it to our favorite place on the Bay. Great location being midway between Gloucester and Matthew's. The house was just what we needed. A perfect place to just get away and relax. It is also convenient to the Historic Triangle. The sunrise on this December Thursday morning was spectacular. Of course, Friday and Saturday were just as nice. Little extras here and there just added to our stay. I can't say enough about the house and our hosts. We want to come back late spring and grill lots of local seafood on the patio.
