Holiday rentals with lake access in Gothenburg

The second time we rented this home so we knew what we were going to get. Enjoyed it as much as last time. It's a place where you get both peace and quiet in the soul but proximity to living countryside.

We loved the house, the pool, the garden! Everything was perfect and Frederik was super friendly and always answering quickly :) would recommend 10/10

We stayed with 4 adults for 9 nights. The view is out of this world. The house is almost on the water and is very private. We used the hot tub and sauna every day, which was also the reason to book this property. Two adults slept in the guesthouse with its own bathroom. It was a double bed, but it was working fine. A great terrace with sofa and chairs. Very cozy living room and a fireplace that we have often used. The kitchen is no longer the newest, but well equipped! Large fridge and deep freezer. Bram was always available within one hour. He was also on site quickly when we had a problem. The supermarket is a 10-minute drive away. Conclusion: Great cozy house with stunning views, with sauna and hot tub!

We were two families with four children who rented the house over New Year. Incredibly nice and spacious house with large social areas and comfortable bedrooms for everyone. Everything you could possibly need is located in the house. Oskar is nice, helpful and quick to respond. We are super happy! Can highly recommend.

Highly recommended accommodation with great views of the sea! Kitchen and bathroom are very well appointed. The decor is very nice and cozy, we had a lot of lovely evenings there!

It was a really lovely place for our family to spend Christmas. Despite the time of year we were able to have some lovely walks around the lake and into the hills. The outlook over the lake was a pleasure at all times as day.

Very nice big house also for many people. Great location on the lake. By using the sauna of Charlotte, a real experience , especially in winter. Plenty of space for many people and very comfortable. It was a very nice stay. Thank you.

We spent 2 nights at Marie's in the charming little village where she lives . The place was perfectly clean perfect for 2 people and a dog!! Just facing the sea , wooden deck and ladder for the morning bath as a lot of Swedes do. The place is very quiet ,bikes are kindly prepared. Very nice coast and a great fishmonger in the village next door . A bottle of cool white upon arrival . And Marie's kindness! perfect for a short stay on the island!

Great place to stay in Askim, near to the sea and to the city of Gothenburg. Somayeh is available for any question and helped us out several times. It is also great to be able to charge your electric car there.

We had a really great stay during the winter time which is lovely because it’s quite and calm, we had very good hosts which have been helpful and very friendly. The flat with the great view over the lake was just a place to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful home on the late. It was great to walk to the water with our dog. Very great natural setting!

Beautiful loft, situated conveniently close to the tram stop and central Gothenburg. Easy to get to and from. The interior is absolutely stunning. The only real downside was that it was a bit unclear how to find the password for the Wi-Fi, as the router it situated fairly far up (especially for a short person like myself), and I couldn't find anywhere to hang my laundry to dry after doing a small load of washing.. That being said, once sorted, it all worked pretty well. I also had to leave a little bit early due to unforeseen circumstances, and the host was very gracious with that as well. Overall, a great stay.

We had a great time at Hélène's place. The accommodation is very clean, quiet, cozy and very well located 5 minutes walk from a small typical Swedish port. Hélène and are husband are adorable and available. We didn't lack anything. Everything was perfect!

We stayed at the beautiful lake house for a few days. It was fantastic! Quiet location directly on the lake. We enjoyed the tranquility and raced on the lake and from the boat, which we were also allowed to use. In the house it had everything you needed and we lacked nothing. Communication with Christina was straightforward and we received a quick response. Everything was as described and visible in the pictures. We even met the very nice neighbors. It's been a great week at this lovely place.

We had a wonderful stay at this very cozy and comfortable cabin. The cabin is placed in beautiful, quiet surroundings close to the woods and to the sea. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. Fredrik is a very friendly and helpful host, and the neighbors are friendly, too. We will definitely recommend it.

Stayed in the mid October. Very mild autumn and beautiful surroundings. Small cabin fits me and my dog perfectly. Reminds me stories about Japanese hotels with tiny rooms, but this is exactly what I want. No clutter and pure functionality. Spend days kayaking. Boy, amazing place for that. After it a hot shower makes my day. Don’t know about romantic couples in this place, read in other reviews:)

Absolutely beautiful place to relax and see some wonderful scenery.

A small homely cottage - Jens has made it very welcoming - very much as if you staying at a friend's/family's cottage. The location is great. Easy acces to the tram direct to center of Gothenburg. For car users it's not too far either. The house is 'snug' so a little discipline being tidy makes it feel spacious. We were 3 adults staying late February. We cooked most nights in the small but functional kitchen area. The strong extractor fan helped. If your destination is the area of Gothenburg and its surroundings then this is great little place to stay.
