Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! The house is rented without a garden, but from inside or out on the balcony you will have stunning views of the mills. We would like to give you a warm welcome at our house where we do everything to give you a pleasant and memorable stay.

We offer you a Studio on the Reeuwijkse lakes. Beautifully styled. It is a detached cottage, on a nursery, with a rural view of the lake. You can sail with the canoe and the rowboat. And of course, you can swim and fish. You can also enjoy hiking and biking in the beautiful nature. Furthermore, the cottage is a good place to make trips to Gouda and The Hague/Rotterdam, even Amsterdam can be reached within an hour.

Studio at alpacafarm (AlpaCasa)

Our rebuild shed is a wonderful place to relax, partly due to alpacas Guus, Joop, Ted, Freek, Bloem and Saar and mini donkeys Bram and Smoky who will greet you on arrival. With Rotterdam and Gouda just around the corner, our casa is a wonderful base for a fun day out! Our casa has a living room, bathroom with shower/toilet and a sleeping loft. Please note there is no extensive cooking facilities.

Windmill Maurik Betuwe Gelderland

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
