Knock About on the Lake is a wonderful lake cottage on a secluded wooded cove on Lake Wedowee! Perfect for a fall getaway, escape from the winter snow, or summer family fun. Three bedrooms, a downstairs TV/bonus room with 2 bunkbeds (4th "bedroom"), two full and one half baths. Enjoy nearby hiking, antiquing, or drinks by the our beautiful firepit under the stars. Serene lake views with your coffee from our large screened porch or sitting on our dock. Boating, and fishing are excellent.

Come stay on our little farm in a unique, beautifully decorated, quaint barn loft. Experience a little bit of farm life during your stay. Enjoy being surrounded by nature, farm animals, and stunning country side, all while still being close to food and fun. Escape to our fairytale, on 100 secluded acres of gorgeous forest on Lake Wedowee/river (short walk to water down road). Soak in the hot tub, bake a pizza in the wood-fired oven, snuggle in nest swing or stroll the river road to swim or kayak. Hike to Wolf Creek and pan for gold. This gorgeous cabin is inspired by the 1840s rock chimneys-found in the forest—built with reclaimed heart of pine, stained glass & cedar from the woods. No tv—this is a place to unplug. Miller Farms: A Quiet Country Cabin Retreat

This is a quiet get-away located on Miller's farm only 20 min. from I-20 between Atlanta & B'ham The sunsets are spectacular. Mt. Cheaha is approximately 15 minutes from the farm. The farm is located approximately 45 minutes from the Talladega Race Track and Anniston (home to the Cheaha Challenge bicycle race),Talladega National Forest 10 minutes, Tallapoosa River and Lake Wedowee, 281 Scenic Byway, Scenic Hwy 49 that leads to US Military Park at Horse Shoe Bend.

The main level contains a fully appointed kitchen, half bath, and sleeper couch. Ascend the spiral stairs to the main bedroom with exposed beams and a rustic tin ceiling. Enjoy 3 decks and soak in the scenery or relax in the swinging bed or hottub and listen to the sounds of Little Terrapin Creek.

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.

Brand New 2022- Two bedroom wood cabin built from wood straight off the land. Porch over looking fully stocked pond right next to lake Wedowee! Relax and unwind in your own hideaway. Enjoy s’mores or hotdogs by the fire pit. Bring your pole and fish right outside the cabin! Or go for a hike at Alabama's highest point, Cheaha State Park just 20 miles away. Hunting land available for extra fee with valid Hunting license and permit.

Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. This beautiful cozy cabin sleeps up to three people . It is stocked with everything you need inside including WiFi and cable TV. Our neighborhood is a quiet 55+ community, so please be respectful of our neighbors. Should you plan to have guest over who exceed the cabin's capacity, you must first notify the host and add them to the reservation. Pets are not allowed.
