Cottage holiday rentals in Great Australian Bight

Had a fabulous stay at Rogasch Cottage. Scott, Craig and Jan were super hosts and made us feel very welcome. we enjoyed our days exploring the Barossa and relaxed in the evenings in the beautiful plunge pool taking in the vineyard. Scott organised a tasting for us and a walk of the property with Kenny and Oats and it made for one of the memorable tastings. sampling the wine amongst the vines was a super experience. Would love to return!

What a wonderful place. Beautiful location, delicious wine and food, and very comfortable. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Henri’s cottage was charming, comfortable, and quiet. The old miner’s cottage has been lovingly renovated and is surrounded by farm land, vines, gardens, and trees frequented by a wide variety of beautiful native birds. It was lovely to eat our breakfast enjoying the view and, what a breakfast! Henri was extremely generous with the quality and wide range of food and drink provided. Thoughtful touches like soft robes to use, an incredibly comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen, bath tub, and Netflix made us feel right at home. Henri was friendly and knowledgeable, welcoming us in person. Overall we felt absolutely spoiled and must say that this is one of the best Air B&Bs we have ever stayed in. If we ever have the good fortune to return to the Barossa, we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Henri!

Staying at Cumquat Cottage is a true five-star experience. It is far more like staying at the luxury home of family or friends than it is like visiting an Airbnb. Meriel and Patrick are the most attentive, warm and generous hosts. They anticipated every need - and many more we didn’t even know we had. There were even treats and a comfy bed for our dog Monte. We arrived to a well-stocked fridge and pantry, fresh flowers in the sitting room, fluffy towels, beautiful bed linen, gorgeous crockery and every kitchen utensil imaginable. The attention to detail is astonishing and made for the most relaxing stay. Eating in the stunning and private courtyard was such a treat, and we were minutes by foot from top eateries. We have never stayed at a better Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful cottage, everything was extremely clean and thoughtfully set out. We really appreciated the bits left for breakfast for both mornings and also the wine and snacks which we enjoyed on the terrace. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in McLaren Vale!

Our stay at Karen's was perfect. Every detail was thoughtfully considered by our host. The space was great for the 4 of us... spacious rooms and bathrooms as well as the open plan kitchen and living area. There was enough food for 6-8 people and we enjoyed our cook up of local bread, bacon and eggs on the Sunday when we had a late check out. Bread, jams, cereals, coffee and treats were overflowing and various milks were available too. Such a memorable experience...we hope to return one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Galway Cottage. It was a bastion of calm in our holiday! The scenery is beautiful and Jason gave excellent recommendations of local places to go. You felt like you were stepping back in time, even though Jason has ensured there are all the modern comforts one needs. We hope to return and stay longer!

Loved our stay! A homely cottage, perfect location to walk to town and back (5min), the bath was welcomed after a day of exploring and the food provided was appreciated as we cooked up a home made breakfast enjoyed on the veranda. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The house was very cosy, The kitchen was fully equipped, with the addition of spices and cooking condiments if needed. Plenty of towels and beach towels supplied as well as bathroom necessities which is great for a traveller that likes to carry little. The back yard was very quaint and peaceful, great for my morning coffee and read. The house was is in a great spot, walking distance to beach , shops, and many great coffee shops and restaurants. Overall very satisfied and will definitely return .

Most amazing place! Very spacious and beautiful setting. Fireplace kept us nice and warm. There was plenty of firewood. We will definitely be back. Our 3 year old absolutely loved it, especially Charlie the pig. We had a wonderful time, thank you so much!!!!!

Perfect location, dog friendly beach, transport options (bus outside house, train 5 mins drive) close by cafes/restaurants (Vietnamese amazing) Dog friendly home, our border collie loved the garden and our two girls enjoyed the stay too. Large home, ideal for 3 adults and 2 children. Plenty of TV options and lounge area perfect. Comfy beds-beautiful cotton linen appreciated! Everyone slept brilliantly. Lots of meals cooked in kitchen, breakfast items were a lovely touch. Thank you so much Vincent!!

A beautiful cottage, clean and tidy and beautiful views out the back. The animal visitors added extra charm and we loved how easy it was to walk to local cafes and shops. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Such a comfortable stay in a beautiful cottage with great views! We were pleasantly surprised on arrival with wine, cheese, crackers, fresh eggs and some Easter eggs as we were there for the Easter weekend! That went a long way to helping us feel comfortable and welcome right from the start 😊 Beds were comfy, everything was super clean and tidy. We were so pleased to be able to bring our dog, the enclosed area outside was perfect for her and she loved having a roam around outside in the paddocks. We were super impressed - thank you so much for a memorable Easter weekend for our little family 😊

Our second stay at this homely cottage where we feel right at home. Super comfy bed and minutes from South Australia's best beach! Love the privacy and history, with mod cons and every thought from Margie for our comfort.

We had a wonderful stay! Steve is an incredibly welcoming host and made us feel right at home. **Cleanliness** – Absolutely spotless. **Amenities** – Everything was in perfect condition. **Location** – Super convenient: 5 minutes to IGA, 7 minutes to the beachfront, 10 minutes to Woolies, and just 3 minutes to the nearest petrol station.

Willow Cottage is stunning. From the surroundings to the interior finishes, to the thoughtful touches from the hosts (like the delicious fig jam, eggs and bread!). We felt so comfortable, and the bed was amazing! Beautifully designed cottage that makes the most of the great views. Hosts Gill and James were friendly and welcoming, we loved the late check-out. Another reason we booked here is the proximity to town- ideal! We'd love to be back and will be recommending Willow Cottage.

Lovely cottage perfect as a base to explore Clare Valley and surrounds. We loved our getaway and would love to come back in winter as it would be even cosier with a roaring fire. Thanks for all the small touches and hospitality Colleen!

Great place just out of the town, a very good home base for relaxing after exploring the area. Well equipped and maintained!

Nicely appointed accommodation, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Loved the wood fire which added a touch of cosiness at night. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and easy walking distance to the Heysen trail and other walks in the area. A great place to stay for a few days while exploring the Barossa.
