In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). We live next door so are happy to help with directions and what to do in the area.

Darcy’s Cottage is a quiet, characterful newly-refurbished one-bedroom cottage on the edge of a wood near Assington, close to Sudbury & Dedham Vale. Assington has a village shop, café and vibrant pub, with many rural walks on the doorstep. The cottage has a snug with woodburning stove, a bathroom with walk-in shower, outdoor space and a barbecue, as well as two TVs and high-speed wifi. It is next door to Brian’s Cottage, with which it shares a communicating door if needed for family use.

Sitting in 10 acers of private grounds, Sprotts Farm is the perfect countryside getaway. The Stables is a beautifully converted barn that was completely updated in 2020. This cosy cottage sleeps four guests in a double room with a WC and a twin room. The Stables boast a large walk in shower. Looking forward to meeting you! PS: we have a pond in the main garden and our chickens are free range and wonder freely around the gardens.
