Absolutely incredible stay!!! We all agreed it was the best Airbnb experience of our lives. The cabin and surroundings are breathtaking. Would totally recommend for exploring the peninsula. Hosts were very helpful and responsive!

Marta was a wonderful hostess. Very friendly. Invited us for coffee both mornings at her cafe. She showed us on a map of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula where to go, what to do, what to see, etc. She looked up restaurants and told us the hours they were open. She messaged our first night that there was an awesome Aurora out about 9:30 PM. Unfortunately we had just gone to bed and didn't get it until the next morning. (We were at the end of a long day following a night flight that arrived at 6 AM with little sleep on the plane.) She also told us there was a free Latin dance class that night at the community center within walking distance. We went and had a great time! The shower faucet was tricky at first until I figured out how it worked. (Right side controlled water temperature. Left side turned it on.) I'm used to right being cold and left being hot. All we did both nights was sleep. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well! Thank you, Marta, for your hospitality!

This was an amazing find in a small town. We used this location as a starting point to explore the Snaesfellsness peninsula . The host recommended an incredible restaurant - Bjargarsteinn Mathus. This was the best food we have ever had and an incredible yet reasonable fine dining experience. Gunnar greeted us upon arrival and was super amenable to anything we needed. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Well…to be honest, I wouldn’t use “luxury” to describe this place. Cozy, modern, efficient definitely! Most importantly the views surrounding the location is just breathtaking. Kirkjufell view is right out your balcony 24/7. The unit is on a small size about 25sqm give or take. Kitchen is equipped enough for lite cooking for 2 no more than that. Unless you plan to stay in your room 24hrs this will never be a problem. The host was friendly and gave clear instructions, no fuss at all. If you’re looking for a peacefully beautiful location with gorgeous views all around this place tick all the boxes. But not for the kind of “luxury stay” if that’s what you want.

Margret’s house is so wonderfull! Everything was perfect for our two families (4 adultes and 1 child). The house and the view are amazing and everything is perfect here: everything is clean, the kitchen is very practical, the decoration is beautifull… and the jacuzzi!!!! we could not expect something better. Thanks to Margret who has been really responsive and who help us every time we asked her something or needed an advice. I can only suggest you to stay in this house, it was the most beautifull place I have been through airbnb.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the hot tub is such a great addition which we fully enjoyed. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing if you are staying near Kirkjufell. The pictures in the Airbnb do not show the quality of the place. Really the house had a good style, the layout was great and the details looked as new. I recommend this place widely!

This until is in a great location to explore the peninsula. There were no towels when we check in, but we messaged and received them a few hours later. The kitchen had everything we needed!!! . We had a wonderful time and liked that there were games and a couch to relax on!!

I had a fantastic stay at this spacious and peaceful apartment. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped and there are lots of options to eat outside around the Airbnb too. Though located in a town, the apartment is tucked away in a quieter area, offering both convenience and tranquility. The view of Kirkjufell was a stunning bonus, and the location was perfect for exploring the Snæfellsnes peninsula, with all the scenic spots just a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again!
