“We spent three days in the pretty little village of Saragano and in the beautifully furnished accommodation of Gabriele and his mother Maria-Teresa. The apartment belongs to a large castle complex with many apartments, where mainly locals friendly people live. From the castle inner courtyard leads a private staircase to the housing unit, which has two floors. The rooms are stylish and very clean, the lower and upper bedrooms have their own bathroom. I can only recommend this accommodation, Gabriele and his mother absolutely deserve to be superhosts.”
Rural stone house of recent restructuring, but still rich in tradition. In the green heart of Umbria, ColleChiaro stretches between the scent of wheat that matures in the sun and the centuries-old memory of its olive groves. A place of relaxation and meditation, which in the summer time, however, also knows how to fill itself with the sounds and colors of countless parties and re-enactments.
“Without doubt the best apartment I have stayed in. Andrea and Irene are real super hosts, they warmly welcomed me and kindly provided me with all the information I asked for. The apartment is very spacious and clean. surprised more is the huge shower box that offers one of the two bathrooms, both equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is brand new and equipped with the latest generation induction hobs, there is also a microwave and a large fridge with three The terrace is well laid out to offer a breathtaking view, the very spacious living room with table and two very comfortable armchairs arranged in front of a flat screen larger than fifty inches offers joyful relaxing evenings. One of the three bedrooms, the one with the double bed, is the one I prefer, because the window placed in front of this allows you to observe the landscape even when lying down, and it is magnificent. Both this and another room have a large, very spacious wardrobe, a desk and period chairs. All well arranged throughout the width of the room, ensuring plenty of space to move around inside. The apartment is located in the green heart of Umbria, near Gualdo Cattaneo, a beautiful medieval town dominated by the imposing Rocca Sonora, allowed to visit up to its deepest corridors. Relevant cities full of folklore to discover are very close, such as Foligno, Spello and Bevagna. I really recommend choosing Collechiaro!”
La Molinetta, country house, is immersed in nature among vineyards and gentle hills. 10 minutes from the splendid villages of Montefalco and Bevagna, to 20 cities of Todi, Spoleto and Foligno. Entering the house you breathe love and respect for the simple traditions of country life in Umbria. The garden at guests disposal offers the opportunity to relax and enjoy nature: there are different types of trees and a vast collection of spontaneous aromatic and wild herbs
“For us, this Airbnb was the highlight of our holidays. Silvia should be made a national treasure. She is a sincere, caring, charming “host” (the term host does not truely describe Silvia). She is an Umbrian ambassador and will go to great lengths to ensure you are aware of the treasures to discover during your stay. She is also a brilliant chef, and able to give you a taste of the authentic Umbria, by arrangement. Her breakfasts are exceptional, and provided as standard. Silvia’s home is located centrally to so many priority destinations -Todi, Montefalco, Assisi, and many more (including a fascinating little village on a hill directly behind - be sure to go to the shop (there’s only one) and ask to see the museum). The accommodation is just beautiful- charming house very stylishly decorated. Very comfortable bed, lovely sitting areas indoors and outdoors. We stayed for eight nights and leaving Silvia’s was one of the hardest things we had to do on our holiday. Could not recommend highly enough.”
