Holiday rentals in Gudhem

We were two adults and two children who had three lovely nights in Elin's cozy little house. It was easy to find and all instructions were clearly explained, and Elin responded quickly and was very helpful. The area is quiet and peaceful, and it was very idyllic with an open fireplace. In addition, it was absolutely great with various board games for the whole family. We tried the wilderness bath and it was definitely worth the effort! Especially the kids found it exciting. Otherwise, it is well worth a trip to the small shop which is a few minutes away, there were very nice staff and surprisingly good selection. Thank you for us, we would love to come again!

What a place! Everything from the welcome and tips on what to see and do in the surroundings, to the moment I would leave the cabin. A short visit, this time. Because I can definitely imagine going back and enjoying nature and tranquility. Just nice things to say about Christer and Camilla. Perfect host couple!

Staying in Kerstin's house is like living in a Swedish magazine photo spread. Everything is so lovely and so perfectly Swedish. We had a restful stay, listening to the crickets and cooking our own meals and admiring the flowers and fields and old churches. Kerstin was a very friendly host and communicated well. Would definitely recommend.

We were two families, 4 adults and 4 children, on a wonderful winter holiday at Stefan's house. We felt very welcome when we arrived at a heated house. The house is very spacious, clean and with a great view to a beautiful lake. Stefan had sent beforehand great instructions around the house, the route there, and the area. There are nice facilities both inside and outside the house, and we really enjoyed the sauna right by the lake. We also had a day skiing at Mullsjö Alpin. We will definitely be back!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house! We really felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the magnificent surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and could even catch fish which was a real highlight. In addition, we made beautiful excursions in the area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your lovely cows. We particularly liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! Above all, we were able to fully relax and now feel wonderfully relaxed. We look forward to coming back. Warm regards, Julia

We had a great holiday at Linnea's house. Everything was there that we needed. The location is great, right on the lake, very quiet, you are really secluded and have your peace and quiet. We spent a lot of time with the two small boats on the lake and enjoyed the sun in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

The cabin is the perfect place if you have a dog or dogs who are afraid of fireworks, as the place consisting of a quiet surroundings and atmosphere. The place is nicely decorated, as well as with all the amenities you could want, cozy and convenient and heart-warming decor. You can really find yourself there, as you settle down completely due to the quiet atmosphere. Haris is a nice host, and is quick to answer any questions and things to be in doubt. I can only highly recommend, this place, as well as the nearby Kosmosse natural park, as both places have the most beautiful setting I've seen.

We were up and running so home was perfect as ours was 150 meters from the cabin we used the cabin for shared dining and some coziness in the evening I have asked Johan about a lot of things and have gotten answers in for a few minutes each he is a great host Only downside was that doors should be left open during food lichen due to smoke detector
