Holiday rentals in Gulf of Nicoya

The apartment was great and we loved having the pool right outside our door. This made it extra convenient when kids were napping (the beach is also only a 5 minute walk away). We were originally going to stay in Flamingo but it was more expensive and busy. We ended up liking Potrero more than Flamingo and would recommend! The hosts are very responsive and even arranged a pack n play for us which was very nice and super helpful. We had an issue with ants in one bedroom, but the hosts were quick to arrange for the exterminator to come out the next day. When visiting Costa Rica, you have to expect some insects, but it was nice they were willing to do that for us. We had a rental car so it was nice having parking, but you can also walk to the local restaurants, brewery, shops, etc within about 10-15 minutes.

A super nice and cozy home, it has all the comforts for 10 people. The kitchen is fully equipped, the place is quiet and very safe. Without question, a stay that we recommend 100%.

The house is fantastic and the host was incredibly responsive- even when one of our kids had a medical emergency, she helped us and called the doctor ahead of our arrival. We loved it here.

Just stayed at Kevin’s place for a week. Perfect location for a family trip. Lots to do poolside or at the beach and several awesome restaurants close by!

We loved staying here. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows! The best beds we had on our two month vacation. It was very quiet and peaceful. I loved the feel of the complex. The pools were lovely and the water was actually warm. Perfect location to walk to the beach and restaurants. It’s quite small but has everything you need. I highly recommend this place.

I absolutely cannot recommend this Airbnb more. It was a super cute & cozy house with a great view of the ocean on top of a hill. The house was super clean and Kelie, our host was amazing. she’s super attentive and gave us great local recommendations. Kelie provided us with fresh fruit and eggs that went amazing with our breakfast! This Airbnb has high ratings for a reason, do not miss out!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful two-bedroom Airbnb home in Costa Rica! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the space. The home was thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. A special touch was the lovely welcome gift, which added to the warm and inviting experience. The common areas were just as impressive as the accommodations—well-maintained, spacious, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded my expectations in every way. I truly appreciate the effort the host put into creating such a welcoming and well-appointed space. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Costa Rica and would love to return in the future!

Sandy's place was sooo convenient! 5-10 min walk to so many restaurants, beaches, the Auto Mercado, and the main street. It was gated, had a pool, and an outdoor shower when you got back from the beach. The kitchen had plenty of pans and dishes to make breakfast or warm up leftovers. I highly recommend!

This spot was so cute! Super close to the beach/center of town/park, all easily walkable. Having access to the pool at NYA Hotel was a huge plus, since the very "in the middle of it all" location made it so that keeping the windows open at the house was too noisy/not safe. The photos of the pool don't do it justice and we saw a troupe of monkeys in the trees right from our lounge chairs.
