Käringön is a car-free island in Bohuslän and completely unique with its location in the far west. On the island, there is a nice grocery store, cozy Petersons tavern and a number of great restaurants. There is also a fish shop with probably the best lobster you have tasted. The family has lived here since the early 1800s. All of the old charm and its origin has been taken care of with great care. There are two houses for rent in different combinations. The houses are tastefully decorated with a high standard and are located on the shore with their own jetty and boathouse. There is a sauna for rent for SEK 500.
